Or better yet, leave it all just a few steps away to refresh your spirit in our private Villa suite and its own private dream-lined beach, infinity pool and glistening rain forest that leave you inspired.


We welcome you to our private Villa just a stone’s throw away from the ocean for your own vacation in paradise to enjoy the best of all worlds. The Villa units were originally built as the most exclusive suites for the Resort (recognized by Connoisseur's guide of Resorts and Great Hotels as the Caribbean Premier Beach Front vacation and golf resort).

The views are stunning from every room and balcony of our 4th floor Oceanfront Villa. In fact, our personal Villa is closer to the ocean and beach and more private than the most expensive suite available at the adjacent Rio Mar Wyndham Resort. Also, unlike rental agencies, you are guaranteed to get the unit and views we show.

On the one hand escape from it all in your exclusive and private Villa with breathtaking views or soak up the sunshine by the private infinity pools or pristine palm tree lined beach. Our beautifully-decorated Villa features two bedrooms (One King/Two Queen) with two full bathrooms, living room, fully-equipped kitchen, dining, and two private balconies. It is our special place so we have fully renovated and decked out every room with a huge 60 inch and two 42 inch Plasma HDTVs (all rooms are HD), wireless internet, full composition of premium movie channels and free local calling. Of course, we also bring you glorious direct views of the ocean and beach, and your choice of fresh ocean air or air conditioning.

Then again, that is only half the fun as additionally you can enjoy amenities of a world-class resort to include up to 8 restaurants, lounges and entertainment, 2 miles of uninterrupted beach, casino, 2 choices in championship golf courses (Greg Norman’s River, Fazio’s Ocean), 13 tennis courts, water sports, and a relaxing spa. A place of never ending opportunity and memories.

And it doesn’t end there as you are surrounded by beauty, the ocean on one side and the El Yunque National Forest mountains on the other as you look out the entry of our Villa area (just a 5 minute drive to the base). Just outside the Resort take a 25 minute drive to Fajardo where you can discover deep-sea fishing, Bioluminescent Bay, airport/ferry to beautiful Vieques and Culebra Islands, 30-minute drive to explore the history and culture of old San Juan and just 5 to 15 minutes to all amenities (supermarkets, banks, outlet shopping mall, K-Mart/Walmart, Ralph's, fast food, movie theaters, etc).

Great Place!
We had a great time at Rio Mar! The place was exactly as described and perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids). Excellent location. Loved the beach, which we almost had to ourselves. It was a great stay and we would love to come back!

Perfect stay!
My husband and I spent a week with our 11 year old granddaughter in this lovely condo. The location is spectacular; we found it very nice to be next door to the Wyndham resort, where we dined several times. The pools at the condos were delightful, and access to the beach easy. The interior of the condo was lovely and as advertised. Ample supplies, including several beach towels, It was spotless when we arrived, everything was in working order, and appreciated all it had to offer. The condo is close to the rain forest and to activities. I definitely recommend this to families!

Wonderful Getaway
Our goal was to relax and enjoy the beach - this was perfect. The place was large and had a superb view with a wonderful balcony. We were close enough to the hotel that we could use their facilities and restaurants as well. We highly recommend it!

Our Visit to Ocean Villas
Great property located on Rio Grande's beautiful beach. The views from the villa are stunning - miles of sandy beach and swaying palm trees coupled with the relaxing sound of Puerto Rico's famous coquis (tree-frogs) and tropical birds makes this a truly relaxing stay. The Rio Mar complex provides residents and visitors miles of sandy beaches, pools, well kept golf course, tennis courts, restaurants. All of these amenities are provided with the tranquility that only a gated community can provide. Also well situated near the the rainforest and all the diving amenities in nearby Fajardo. Can't wait to go back.

Ocean Villa luxury
This villa is in a beautiful spot with gorgeous views from your balcony. The pool and hot tub facilities are astounding and so private and not crowded! The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. Beds comfortable but queens in one bedroom very high if you are elderly etc! Otherwise would not hesitate to rent again. Owner is very responsive to questions or any small problems.

Best Family Vacation so Far!
This was the first time my family had an enjoyable vacation! My husband, 2 yr old, myself and my mother all stayed at the property this past March and had a fantastic time. The size of the unit was perfect for the amount of people and you cannot beat the location! We were able to run down to the pool or beach or walk over to the main hotel at any time. We will definitely be going back! The pool area for this property was nice and quiet / family friendly. Appreciated that the unit was stocked with toys and lifejackets for our daughter. Was truly a seamless vacation. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Nice place.
Nice place overall. The bedrooms are spacious, AC works very well, and the views are great. The location is very central fun family activities like El Yunque, Luquillo, and an easy commute to San Juan. Some of the property is showing its wear- the elevators for example were hit or miss and the washer/dry struggled to keep up with the humidity. Wasn’t enough to take away from the overall experience but worth noting.

Terrific property, great location
We loved the location on the NE part of the island, with access to El Yunque, beaches, restaurants, and lots of outdoor activities. The pools on the property were relaxing for evening swims, and there were fun but not scary waves to bodysurf on the beachfront that was only about 30 meters away. The unit was great for our family of 4 and we found the owners to be responsive and easy to interact with.

great condo in great location
Very comfortable 2 bedroom condo perfect for my wife, our daughter and her friend. Pools and hot tub were great. beach was beautiful. Resort was quite large and there were several miles of roads that were easy to walk on for exercise. We don't golf, but the gold course was beautiful and uncrowded. 25 minute drive to Fajardo for fishing. Several good restaurant within a few minute drive. Grocery is less than 5 minutes away. Kitchen small but manageable and well stocked.

Wow what a place to stay. Very nice condo with magnificent views. Easy to get to and super secure resort area. Beautiful soft sand and ultra clear water. Great area to stay at in Puerto Rico. Resort was well stocked with entry of chairs and towels etc. Needed nothing. We will definitely stay here again. Host was super nice with lots of info about the area with recommendations. Had our wedding on the beach walking distance from the resort.
