Place was clean, Ac was great. Area was nice and felt safe. Lindsay was really nice and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again for our next trip. Thank you Lindsay!!! 😊
I like the fact that it was so easy to find and has great amenities! Breakfast was perfect to start the day, there was a washer/dryer in unit which meant no need to wash when getting back home so that was a big perk! I would stay here again!
We requested fresh towels a number of times and didn’t receive them. Room was not cleaned while we were there at all. I did like that free snacks were provided in the kitchen & the ease of checking in.
Overall a fantastic and cute little space to come back to at the end of the night. Everything is within walking distance, grocery stores, beaches, various food options, etc.
The stay was great highly recommend, finding parking can be rough but not terrible. Uber-ing worked great lots of places really close by and only 12-15 minutes from old San Juan
The property called the space a penthouse. It was not. There was no place to hang your clothes. Just a closet with 2 wire racks one above the other so no hanging close. No dressers. 2 rooms connecting in the middle to a small bathroom with a shower(which had issues). 1 mirror in the bathroom. only 1 small under the sink space for toiletries. For 5 girls. We lived out of our suitcases. That which I thought because of the description of space was our living quarters was not. SO we had 2 small rooms and no where to go that was not common area. The hot tub didn't work. There was no one there to greet us. The fridge which I thought was ours was open to all guests. The representation is not what we got. I looked up the defination of a penthouse and we did not have a penthouse. More like a hostle. The description also said the accommodations were for 6 people. Thank God there were only 5 of us.
The housekeeper entered our studio apartment minutes after we checked in we and left the unit to walk around and get lunch. She had no reason to enter the unit as we were there only for one night and everything we needed was already in the unit. We had no way to protect our belongings as there wasn’t a bolted down safe so it was inappropriate for her to access the unit while we were out. We found her phone on the table upon our return and it wasn’t there when we had initially entered the unit. The property manager could not give us an excuse as to why the housekeeper entered the unit while we were out. Seems shady to me. Also breakfast was slim pickings and we were told we had to wash what we used. All the while the housekeeper was chatting it up with someone just outside the kitchen/breakfast area and we were searching for coffee etc.

Liked: Cleanliness
Minimal service; good location
Centrally located a nicely decorated this place has a lot going for it, but in many respects it resembled a hostel rather than a bed and beeakfast. The central location meant lots of light and noise infiltrated the rooms at night. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink or shower, just lukewarm. And the included breakfast required you to make it yourself and do the dishes, as there were no staff onsite. As long as you're fine with these tradeoffs, it's a good spot, particularly for groups.
Not really staff on property. The staff is reachable via phone and are pretty prompt and helpful. The stairwell/rooftop area needs a clean up, but other than that the room and breakfast lounge area was really clean. Area seemed safe and its pretty close to alot of resturants. Ubering to OSJ was pretty cheap from here
We booked is hotel and were not given the code to our room or any information about our stay from the host. We were not informed what unit we were or the code until we called the host. The host spoke like we were an inconvenience to them. When we booked we say breakfast and a hot tub were included, we walking around the building trying to located the amenities since we were not given instructions. When located we found the door was locked. On the door to the amenities, it stated that the code to the door can be found in your binder. That information was incorrect there was no information about the code in the binder. Luckily we ran into other guests staying there and they were able to give us the code. We were unable to enjoy breakfast on either of the days we were there because they severed from the hours of 8-11 standard breakfast at a hotel is between the hours of 6-10 am. The hot tub was an inflatable that could hold two people at most and at full blast full heat would not get warm at all. The room itself was old, decorated nicely to fancy it up. The floor are concrete, the door is thin and metal felt very unsafe like anyone could bust in at any moment. Last but not least the water would not get hot in the shower only warm and the water pressure was non-existent I was considering buying a watering can or cup to get better water supply to wash up. With all this being said the price was very reasonable compared to the area but had many complications.
