Some of the most well-known tech companies are based in San Jose’s bustling downtown. San Pedro Square Market is also downtown and is a street market, with lots of outdoor patio style seating and international cuisine offerings. Other popular venues include the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts, hosting musicals, operas, ballet shows and the Japanese Friendship Garden.

Pets are welcome, though weight limits and breed restrictions apply and may incur fees.
