2200sqft of Beachfront Luxury at reasonable prices!!

Spectacular luxury condo right on the beach brand new in late 2007. This is not your average 'boxy' condo. High end finishes include custom alder cabinets, natural stone and granite, brushed nickel hardware, recessed down lighting on dimmer switches, alder interior doors, plantation shutter wood closets, all stainless appliances. The living room is spacious with tremendous light emanating from the huge glass sliders that disappear into the wall, making the 600 sqft balcony one with the living room! The center island is the focal point of the gorgeous fully equipped kitchen.

Both the primary and the secondary bedroom have full sea views with pocket glass doors that lead directly to the beachfront balcony. The primary bedroom has one king-size bed and its own en-suite bathroom with oversized tub. Louvred shutters open into the bedroom and give way to the beautiful Sea of Cortez view. The second bedroom has 2 queen-size beds and its own bathroom also.

El Zalate Beachfront Resort is tropically landscaped and just minutes from San Jose Del Cabo and a short drive from the airport. The resort boasts a spa and 2 beautiful swimming pools - one with beach entry (ideal for kids) and another infinity style pool. The retail center adjacent o the property consists of a convenience store and pharmacy. The giant 'Comer' supermarket is just half a mile away. Several restaurants are within walking distance. You can enjoy live music and dining on the sand at the Coral Baja Hotel next door.

Guests will have access to onsite pickleball and gym.

Please note that we are in a large condominium resort and there is always the possibility of work being carried out in the resort and in other units, especially during off season.

We absolutely had the BEST time in this beautiful property! The apartment and the complex far exceeded our expectations! We hope to go back soon! The pools were amazing and the sunrise from the balcony was just to die for!

Relaxing stay
This condo has a fantastic location, you can to the beach, breakfast, dinner or a fun time at a sports bar. The pool area is good and the views are beautiful. I would definitely stay here again! The cable was fantastic and we were able to watch our local football, basketball and baseball teams!

Great property in a terrific location
We really enjoyed our stay in Clare's condo at El Zalate. This condo's location is well suited to enjoy both Cabo San Lucas and San Jose and is importantly, a very quiet location. Its a great property for families as it is steps away from the beach and there are multiple pool options (two pools and a hot tub). We would certainly stay here again on our next trip to Baja.

Perfect getaway!
The condo was perfect for two couples. Lots of space to relax and enjoy our vacation. The property is incredible...beautiful gardens, lots of pool space and easy access to the beach. Restaurants and grocery stores all walking distance from this lovely property. We would love to come back!

Great Stay!
Had a great 2 week stay in Clare's condo. Spacious, clean, great location, all the amenities you will ever need. Enjoyed the pools, ocean views, and quick access to all the area has to offer. We've stayed in a few San Jose properties but this has to be our favorite. Could easily make it our home. Clare was great to work with and couldn't be more responsive.

Condo was extremely well kept, owner responded to any and all inquires. Walking distance to many stores, local restaurants, and pool, with small children this was a plus. Other residents at the property are welcoming and friendly. Cant wait to return soon enough.

Great Vacation Condo
We loved Clare’s condo unit at El Zelate. It was easy to find, great parking, fantastic pools with a great view. The list can go on and on. It was also a nice surprise that we were within a 20 minute walk to the grocery store and enjoyed the Mama Mia’s restaurant just next door. Nice and quiet, but family oriented. We’re hoping to visit again! Thank you for the great stay!

Very beautiful grounds , pool and beach. Condo is very nice. No restaurant / bar or activities though. Have to Uber to find things to do. Besides the restaurant next door. if relaxation and quiet time is what you want then it is great.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful place
We just got back from a wonderful week at Clare’s place with our 2 and 5 year old kids. The house has everything we needed (including a pack and play!) and was spacious and clean. We loved spending time on the balcony watching the ocean and listening to the crashing of the waves. Our kids wanted to spend every minute in the wonderful warm pool. All the neighbors were very sweet even though our kids weren't always as quiet as the complex :) We loved the location and ease of getting everywhere and yet feeling completely relaxed and out of the hustle and bustle of town. We would happily recommend Clare’s condo to anyone!

Home away from home
The overall condition of the property was excellent. We come to SJD every year and stay at this complex; however, this was the first time at this property. I like that it's located on the second floor, and we were able to see the waves. The beds were comfortable, and the bedding was soft. You pay a little more for the larger square footage, but well worth it.

Absolutely loved this place! My 3rd time to San Jose and by far my favorite. Communication was excellent from property mgr and owner. Clean. Perfect location! Spectacular view. Condo has everything you could need. They even got groceries for me PTA. We will def be back!

Amazing!
Absolutely loved our stay in this condo. El Zalate was perfect for our family trip. We Could walk to restaurants on the beach close by or into town. And a quick 10 minute Uber ride into old town or 25 minutes to Cabo. This was the first time to the Baja that we didn’t rent a car and we didn’t miss it. Great location. Large condo-perfect for a family of four. Kids loved the beach and surf. Claire was super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Amazing!
Claire’s unit is spacious, clean, and loaded with everything you would possibly need to have a relaxing and memorable stay in San Jose Del Cabo. Along with the amazing views of the sea of Cortez, a beautifully manicured landscaped pool area, and walking distance to shopping, markets and restaurants, town square Jose del Cabo is just a ten minute car or taxi ride. Claire has thought of everything. We can not wait to return.

So beautiful and relaxing!
My husband and I stayed at this lovely property for 8 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was very spacious and well-kept. We enjoyed many meals on the balcony, overlooking the beautiful pools and ocean all while watching diving pelicans and whale spouts in the distance. The location on the second floor was perfect for us! We had a nice view and a short walk to the pool(s). The condo was stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated being able to just enjoy the space without having to run out and get basic supplies. The location is amazing with restaurants within walking distance. We also walked to the nearby grocery stores (about 2/3rds of a mile). The owner was so helpful and kind. She made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a great time!

Spring Break Adventure
Our family chose Clare’s wonderful condo for a 10 day stay in San Jose with our daughter and teenage grandchildren. My husband and I have stayed in El Zalate many times but this was the first time with family and it was an awesome time! We went into both San Jose and Cabo and saw the sights plus went down the road to Chilean Beach to swim and snorkel. We went to many nice restaurants plus cooked on the BBQ at the condo. The condo grounds are spectacular and very secure and the pool area is fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and when we had a question for Clare she responded almost immediately. We definitely plan to return.

Clare's oversized suite is amazing. The kitchen is well equipped. There are two types of coffee machines which we appreciated. The beds are very good. El Zalate is truly exceptional and we can't wait to come back to this complex. We've used VRBO a number of times in various countries, but the communication and response time with Clare was the best we've experienced. We made a small request when we first arrived and her property manager had appeared within a couple of hours to help us out. We will definitely be recommending this place to our family and friends.

Great time
Loved our stay. There were a few minor things like the TV didn’t work and there were no screens on the doors so we all got bit several times. The other thing was no fault of the great condo but there were screaming kids from the first thing in the morning to evening in the pool along with crying babies. Our dates included spring break and Easter so it probably was the time.
