Self catering L´Amborget y La Mallada for 2 people

L’Amboget and La Mallada rural houses are built inside an old village house which was first used as a warehouse for agricultural products, later in the 1920s, as a theatre centre for young people and after the Spanish Civil War up to the 1970s it was used as the only public school in the village. In 2004 it was restored and is used for rural accommodationl.

Sant Jordi has 730 inhabitants and is situated in the Baix Maestrat region in Castelló. Sant Jordi stands out thanks to its privileged situation because it’s just 11Km far from the coast, that is to say, one will have quietness at 10 minutes from the sea.

Its landscape is formed of crops for dry farming, such as carob trees, almond trees, olive trees and there are also some pine-tree woods which invite you to enjoy nature in its pure state. When we walk around the village we can see a great deal of stone doorways, balconies and iron grilles which preserve the traditional heritage. You will enjoy observing some of the most peculiar façades.

Charming through and through.
Our family of 4 from Arizona, USA recently stayed at L'Amborget and enjoyed our stay immensely. The house is clean and cozy and decorated with old wold charm. Our host and hostess Julio and Rosa Mari could not have been more gracious. They met us at the house and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The village of San Jorge is quite small, but there are several restaurants and there are many nearby points of interest - including Peniscola which is a short 30 minute drive away. Rosa Mari and Julio have put together a book of local attractions as an additional service to their guests. A++!

Ha sido una semana deliciosa. La casa está muy cuidada y tiene todas las comodidades. Julio y Rosa María son encantadores y nos habían preparado una mini guia con sitios de interes por los alrededores. El pueblo muy bien situado para visitar tanto la costa como el interior. FENOMENAL
El emplazamiento de las casas es ideal, puedes disfrutar de un pueblo tranquilo del interior de Castellón y a la vez ir a las playas (está a unos 10 minutos en coche). Nos encantó Morella, Peñíscola, el Delta...Gracias a las recomendaciones de Rosa Mari y Julio pudimos disfrutar de una zona que nos era desconocida. En resumen, una estancia muy satisfactoria y agradable.

Fin de semana de cuento delante de la chimenea
En el centro mismo del pueblo, al lado de la plaza de la iglesia y muy cerca de la plaza mayor, pudimos disfrutar de un fin de semana perfecto. Una casa tan cuidada hasta el más mínimo detalle que te transporta a otra época: los muebles, la decoración, los complementos... Y qué mejor que pasar los días más fríos del año al lado de una preciosa chimenea de leña: qué placer ha sido leer calentito sentado en el sofá mientras se oía el chispeteo del fuego! Gracias a Rosa Mari y a Julio por todos sus consejos y por orientarnos para hacer turismo por la zona! Un sitio tan encantador y tan lleno de detalles que es imposible describirlo con palabras. ¡VOLVEREMOOOS!! ;)

BUENA SITUACIÓN
Nosotros buscábamos un pueblo tranquilo para que nuestros hijos pudiesen jugar, que esté cerca de la playa, además que te permita conocer otros pueblos del entorno y esto lo hemos conseguido en nuestra estancia en La Mallada de San Jorge. La situación del pueblo es perfecta porque lo tienes todo cerca: playas, montaña... Para terminar solamente quiero dar las gracias a Rosa y Julio por hacernos sentir como en nuestra casa.

ENCANTADOS CON LA ESTANCIA

ESPLÉNDIDO FIN DE SEMANA
Hemos tenido la suerte de pasar un fin de semana en la casa rural L'Amborget. La casa estaba muy cuidada, limpia, preciosa y sin que le faltara ni un solo detalle. TODO MUY BIEN
Hemos pasado unos días inolvidables. La casa nos ha gustado mucho, el entorno no lo conocíamos y nos ha sorprendido por la gran variedad de posibilidades que tiene. A nosotros que nos encanta el mar hemos disfrutado de la playas de Vinaróz y Peñíscola. Lo mejor de todo ha sido las recomendaciones que nos han dado Rosa y Julio para que lo pasasemos muy bien. RELAX Y DESCANSO

Alojamiento Tía Salomé
Somos dos parejas que estuvimos alojados la segunda semana de agosto en otra casa del mismo propietario denominada Casa Tía Salomé. Preciosa casa rural , recientemente reformada, decorada con un exquisito gusto y con amplio espacio para descansar y disfrutar en familia. Nos sorprendió el magnífico trabajo artesanal realizado en la casa. Pudimos disfrutar de la zona de barbacoa y la terraza- solarium de la segunda planta, totalmente recomendable. El pueblo donde se ubica está a muy pocos km de Vinarós por lo que no se pierde mucho tiempo en los desplazamientos. También está cerca de Peñíscola y el Delta del Ebro. Su propietario Julio, es majísimo, el primer día nos explicó todo lo que podíamos visitar, alrededores y donde nos recomendaba comer. Debido a los pocos días que estuvimos, no pudimos hacer todo lo que nos dijo, pero seguro que volveremos. Gracias Julio!

Gran fin de semana de descanso y playa
Estuvimos el pasado fin de semana en l'Amborget para pasar un fin de semana de descanso y para estrenar la temporada de playa, ya que nos gusta mucho. Des de la llegada y con la explicación de los propietarios de todas la comodidades de la casa... hasta el día que nos fuimos no nos faltó de nada. La verdad es que somos una pareja que nos gusta ir por distintos lugares y siempre nos alojamos en apartamentos o casas rurales, pero nunca habíamos estado en una casa como ésta. ¡Qué encanto! todos los detalles y cuidados de la casa. Y sobretodo la cercanía de las playas de Vinaròs a menos de 10 minutos en coche. Un placer. Gracias a los propietarios, volveremos seguro.

Fenomenal
hemos pasado unos dias en las casas L1Amborget-La MALLADA en SAnt jOrdi. Hemos estado estupendamente, es una gozada estar tranquilos y relajados al lado de la chimenea. apesar del frio nos ha gustado mucho Morella y la Tinença. Tenemos que volver en verano paa disfrutar del Delta del Ebro y de las playas de Peniscola. Muy recomendable.

Una casa para descansar
La casa está muy bien acondicionada y sobretodo decorada con mucho encanto. En esta casa hemos encontrado lo que necesitábamos, estar lejos del estrés y de los agobios del día a día. Lo mejor de la estancia, los momentos relajantes frente la chimenea. De verdad, nos hemos sentido muy a gusto. Gracias por todo.

Desconexión cerca de la playa
Hemos estado con un grupo de amigos y la casa nos ha sorprendido a todos por lo bien cuidada y decorada que está. También hemos disfrutado del primer baño de la temporada en la playa de Vinaroz y porque no decirlo de la exquisita paella que hemos tomado en el restaurante el Faro. Un lugar para tener muy en cuenta y para volver. Gracias por todo.
