"If you have the opportunity to stay in a corner room - DO IT! We had the craziest room with the most amazing view, and largest glass enclosed balcony I’ve ever seen even in a luxurious Manhattan apartment, let alone a hotel room. The staff was also beyond polite in every situation we encountered. We did not check out the casino at all, but I’m guessing it is also just as nice. "

"We spent 3 nights here for our anniversary trip, it was wonderful, more beautiful than the pictures, accomidations and amenities were wonderful. You will want hiking shoes and easy food for cooking. "

"Jason’s place is very nice, and even on hot days there is lots of outdoor space and shade to enjoy. Although we had to cancel last minute due to issues, the owner kindly offered a refund. Although it took a while to work it out, in the end I was satisfied with the results."

Lovely

"What a lovely boutique hotel. I'm glad I decided to stay here rather than some chain hotel. The service was just top notch. Staff greeted me no matter where I was on the property. The valet is exceptional and considering how expensive it can be in larger cities it was so economical and swift and the valets were great to chat with while waiting for my rental. The breakfast I had one morning was yummy as well. The decor of the building was a nice histiric feel and the rooms were nice too. Loved the bathroom with the Black tile and the shower was unique. I wish I had more time to eat at the bar downstairs or check out the roof top (saw it from my room and it looked very inviting) Room wasn't big but was just right. If I have a reason to return to Bakersfield I plan to stay there. "
