"Loved the villa type atmosphere with a very home-y staff. Very family oriented and unique. B, L & D meals were all prepared by a family of cooks (“the Mamas”) and truly fabulous tasting. Only spent 1 day there and wish we spent 2-3 days. A/C could have been colder as we were there during a 93F temps with very high humidity. But they have a pool in the back and a plunge pool in front. Great for a cigar outside at night. Would definitely go back and highly recommend this warm & friendly resort. "

"This was a really fabulous week in Caltavuturo. Susanne has a created a welcoming and beautifully styled home and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. There are many hidden places around the property to relax, whether it’s by the pool, on the terrace on the long outdoor sofa or upstairs on the terrace outside the main apartment. The kitchen is really well stocked with appliances. There are two fridges so plenty of storage space. The Weber grill was perfectly clean and easy to use. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean and nice and cool with AC. We had a couple of minor problems which were swiftly resolved by the Susanne and her wonderful helpers, Leah and Vincenzo. They couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. Overall, this was a lovely holiday with our kids who are 9 & 11. It would also be really suitable for slightly older kids who would have space to roam. If I had any hesitation at all it would be the amount of driving required as the property really is quite remote, but that was also a benefit so we could have a quiet week. I am sure we will be back and thank you to Susanne again for a lovely stay."

"We had a super 2 weeks in this villa. Giuseppe is a brilliant host. From day 1 communication was helpful and prompt. All information was passed on at the relevant point. He could not have been better. The villa is really well-equipped and comfortable. The pool was a real boon when the weather was hot and was well maintained and cleaned every few days. The villa was easy to find and was well placed to access a lot of local sites. Thank you, Giuseppe for a fantastic holiday."
