Charmante woning
Ruime woning op een perfecte locatie voor auto en openbaar vervoer in het centrum van Toscane. De woning is net en zeer goed uitgerust. Enige minpunt: slechts één toilet in de badkamer vraagt wat organisatie 😀.

Spacious house in beautiful area
We had a great time in this house in Tuscany. The house was spacious, comfortable and convenient. We spend two weeks here as a family with three children. We could explore Tuscany between Firenze, Pisa and Siena. The house was well located to reach all these cities. The neighborhood was calm and we felt at home. The kitchen was well utilized, an upstairs terraces was still being prepared but served well as shelter for the sun. Beds, bedrooms, and bathroom where all sufficient The town nearby gave all we need, swimming pool, restaurants, shops and the medieval town of Certaldo Alto turned out to be one of the lesser known treasures of this part of Italy. We were even able to take in two games of Fiorentina in their home stadium, great experience. All in all we were very happy, rested well, saw and did many nice things and are ready to go back into daily live, rested and engerized again!

Magico soggiorno davanti al camino
Abbiamo soggiornato qui in occasione del capodanno, eravamo 6 amici e la casa era molto spaziosa e accogliente. Il punto più magico della casa è il camino, grande e vicino al quale ci si può ripassare (e cucinare). Le camere sono confortevoli, con arredamento che si alterna fra anticato e moderno. La cucina è perfettamente equipaggiata anche per quanto riguarda i beni essenziali come olio e sale per cucinare. Ottima la pulizia e la posizione delle stanze (zona giorno e zona notte sono ben definite). La casa si trova in un punto strategico per visitare i dintorni e l'host, disponibile e gentilissimo, ci ha offerto alcuni consigli su eventi/luoghi d'interesse. Abbiamo passato 5 giorni magnifici e consigliamo caldamente questa struttura!

Un lieu plein de charme!
Nous étions 6, quatre adultes et deux ados. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette très belle location. Nous avons tous été charmés par ce lieu, ancienne abbaye divisée en plusieurs logements dont la location qui dispose d'un espace extérieur très confortable, avec une table en terrasse, des chaises longues, un barbecue. A proximité, le terrain de foot a fait le bonheur de certains d'entre nous. La maison est spacieuse, extrêmement bien équipée, le calme environnant, les vignes, les arbres fruitiers, sa situation à l'écart (un peu) des lieux les plus touristiques et les voisins très sympathiques nous donnaient envie de ne plus bouger. La maison est très bien située pour visiter San Gimignano, Sienne, Florence, Voltera. Sienne et Florence sont accessible par train de Certaldo avec des trains fréquents. Un très grand merci à Giacomo pour son accueil et sa gentillesse. Nous recommandons très vivement!

Vacances dans un cadre reposant et agréable
Grazie a Giacomo per la sua disponibilità! Grand gîte très agréable, bien aménagé et très propre . Il est situé dans un charmant petit hameau dans les hauteurs de Certaldo et donc très au calme dans la campagne toscane, à mi-chemin entre Pisa, Siena et Firenze...Il ne faut pas oublier de visiter le très beau village de Certaldo Alto. Nous avons été sensibles à la bonne bouteille de Chianti pour nous souhaiter la bienvenue. Merci Giacomo! Nous gardons cette adresse en mémoire et c'est avec grande joie que nous y reviendrions!

campagne tout confort
L'appartement est absolument magnifique, il a conservé un peu de son style "moniacal" tout en étant modernisé, tout confort. Très spacieux, très très propre. La literie impeccable, confortable. Nous avons bien profité de la chaleur de la grande cheminée pour nos repas du soir pendant la semaine. La vue sur la campagne est superbe. Le site est très calme et reposant, et tout près de Certaldo où l'on trouve tous les commerces nécessaires. Notre hôte a été très chaleureux et sympathique. Il nous a accueilli avec un très bon chianti. L'endroit est à deux pas de San Gimignano et à égale distance de Florence et de Sienne. L'idéal pour circuler dans les villages médiévaux alentours (tels Certaldo, Monterrigioni) et la vallée du Chianti. Je reviendrai ici avec grand plaisir.

AGREABLE LOCATION
Gîte très agréable , proche de nombreux sites touristiques. Environnement calme, l'appartement est très bien équipé, les chambres possèdent une excellente literie. Nice house, a lot of space & quiet environment
House located in very quiet environment outside of the city. Well fournished with kitchen tools ans beds. It was clean and in good condition. Just a bit difficult to find on our arrival but it was really worthing it. Garden is a bit small to eat outside. I would cerrtainly recommend the place.

The house is located naar...
The house is located naar san Gimignano, in the middle of Tuscany. It is a hidden treasure, quietly against a hillside in a former monastery. Nice atmosphere, authentical furniture, well equiped kitchen, large rooms. Very friendly and helpful landlord. We had a wonderful time, both exploring the Tuscan citiies and countryside and relaxing in the garden. Recommended to anyone looking for a quiet and authentic place to stay, yet within driving distance of many of the touristic highlights.
