"I recently stayed at Balay ni Manuel Ken Maria and had a mixed experience. The hotel is a family-managed business, and I genuinely appreciated the personal touch and warmth in the service. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made our stay more comfortable. The breakfast offered five local dishes with a choice of coffee or juice, though it could benefit from a wider selection. That said, there were a few areas where improvements could be made. "We arrived with no hot water and reported it immediately. They fixed the problem right away and resolved the problem that night. We requested a microwave and provided it right away. Pillows are great and mattress felt good. Staff is friendly and excellent service. Plan to stay again to this Hotel in the future. "

"The hotel only has the basic amenities like TV and Air-con. They have a small restaurant area at the ground floor. The staff were very friendly though. Also, there was an incident in which the heater was not working so we had to call it in."

"Very difficult to find. Not ready to accept guests as it is a house not renovated to be hotel-like. The receiving bench is covered with dirty linen/seat cover. The house is not attractive to guests. It was not designed to accomodate paying guests. The toilet is dirty although the water supply is good. The room is very hot, no ventilation. "
