Hidden gem
A friend and I stayed there when we went to race in the San Felipe 250. It is tucked away off any main roads in a small housing area. If you did not know where it is you could easily mistake it for a someone's house. Actually it kind of is. Beatrice the owner lives on the property, speaks English and is as sweet as they come. We had many conversations as she busily worked cleaning & tidying up and preparing for other guests.
The property has only 6 rooms, 5 on the ground level and one we called the bird house that is only accessible by a spiral stair case in the back of the property. The bird house was our room. The building is old but the room was clean and the sheets were freshly washed and smelled clean. By Mexico standards it was way above average. The air conditioning worked great and the Wi-Fi was fast enough to stream net-flix . The room had a new hot water heater so hot showers were great. The small parking lot was gated and secure, that was a good feeling since we had brought our race bikes down to Mexico for the race.
The only negative was a rooster close by that went off every morning at 4:30am. but given where he lives he will probably be dinner before this review gets published. (problem solved)
Beatrice really takes pride in her little hidden gem and she works so hard for a woman her age. I would stay there again just to talk to her again, she really was that nice.
