We enjoy staying at this property. Gail and Mike are wonderful hosts, the dog which we had adopted the last time we were here enjoyed playing with their dogs. It is in a quiet neighborhood across the street from a nice beach and 15 minute walk to the Malecón which has great food and shops.
Frist of all, the property, the hosts and 'Wally' the three-legged watch dog were all awesome. Micheal gave us the nickel tour of town which is in walking distance from the house. Not that you need to leave the house. It's very cozy and comfortable and well stocked with everything that you need. Enjoy the beaches the restaurants and by all means visit the bakery also in walking distance.

Relaxation
The VRBO was very nice. The owner has done a great job decorating. The owners are very helpful with information such as activities, eateries, etc. I was hoping to have a water-front condo. The condos they have built are absolutely beautiful. It is definitely a place for relaxation. Joyce Bennett
We loved this home so much! I highly recommend staying here for your San Felipe getaway. This house is so beautiful, quaint, clean, and secure. Our host was kind and helpful. The entire process of checking in, staying, and leaving was simple. We loved the comfort of the home and the spacious bedrooms and super comfortable beds. The patio areas were the perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning or enjoy dinner while the sun sets. We will definitely be back!
I stayed here for 3 nights with my family and our dog. It is a lovely property, well decorated with attention to detail, unusual in most rentals in Mexico I have stayed in the past. Gail’s check in process was perfect- efficient and timely. I appreciated the large amount of filtered water and the soap in kitchen and bathrooms. Again not typical for Mexico. Ample towels were also a bonus. It is very safe with a gated parking lot and a nice gated courtyard where our pooch could lounge and cruise around. The beach is directly across a quiet street, though water is not visible due to other buildings. Access is just a short walk. Very nice quiet beach with lots of cool sea glass. My son shore fished from there and the dog had a blast running free. Highly recommend!
Our house was modern and lovely with interesting and attractive furnishings. Lots of entertainment areas with front and back outdoor patios and a rooftop, as well as an indoor patio-type room. Beach was accessed through gated neighboring property and was a refreshing walk whether tide was in or out. Sea and beach were not visible from our house.
Town was a convenient walk along the beach or roads. Michael gave us an introductory whirlwind tour of town, restaurants, conveniences and the must-sees. Abby, our Terrier, was welcomed and had a great time walking beaches, the Malecon and everywhere watching visitors from the restaurant patios in town. We were very satisfied with our stay and would return again.

We loved this house. It was very comfortable, well furnished, designed and decorated. 30 seconds from the beach and it had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. Lots of gated parking parking and plenty of room and patios to just hang out and relax inside or outside. We will be back for sure
The location, house, and hosts couldn’t be better! Loved that this house is dog friendly and on a safe, enclosed compound with 2 airstream trailers. The hosts were really nice people and offered lots of advice about San Felipe. Clean, spacious house with great internet that made working remotely a breeze. Loved that you can walk to the beach in 2 minutes or to town in 15. Michael and Gail have several rentals, and all of them are really well done with amenities, art, and clean. Renee helps makes sure you have what you need and is very friendly. In summary, the rental is excellent, and the people (and dogs!) made the experience special.
This is a very nice place with an enclosed secure grounds in front for parking and dogs. It is across the street and down an alley from the beautiful beach.
Everything about the property, location and hosting is 100% excellent. The property is an exceedingly comfortable retreat, less than a 2 minute walk from the beach. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and informative of the area, Michael brought us on a guided tour of San Felipe with many helpful tips on the area. Gail is also a very warm and helpful host, communication is clear and super helpful. You will not be disappointed if you’re lucky enough to stay here.

Love the place
The property was very clean and quiet. The feel was very comfortable.
We loved coming back to this spot after walking around San Felipe all day. There were so many spots to sit and relax. The kitchen had all necessities and the rest of the house was well stocked as well. The hosts responded so quickly to our many questions. We’re so glad we found this house!
We had never been to San Felipe before and this turned out to be the perfect spot with the most gracious hosts ever! Mike and Gail have a number of different options for your stay. We stayed in a house in a compound across the street from their beautiful condos on the beach. Everything that we needed was there. Kitchen, bath, wifi, netflix ;-) The house is in a secured compound and close to town. We had to change our arrival date and Gail changed it with no problem. We really appreciated it. In our compound were 3 airstream trailers, beautifully outfitted, that they also rent out. Mike was so nice to give us a tour of San Felipe pointing out good restaurants and places to shop. An added bonus for us were the pups. Gail has dogs of her own and dogs that she has rescued and finds homes for them. Moe and Sunny Boy were there during our stay and greeted us like old friends each day. You will never find more helpful, kind hosts. We will stay there again but next time opt for a condo on the beach with a great swimming pool. Thanks Gail and Mike. Hope to see you again soon.
I've been coming to San Felipe for over 40 years...yes, I'm that old! This little Casita is PERFECT for a Family! SUPER Clean, Sense of Security with the Enclosed Gate. Full Kitchen with everything you might need (microwave, pot/pans, dishes, refrigerator) Air conditioner was awesome, water pressure was great...overall, just a really pleasant stay. The beach is a 1 minute walk across the street. There's a hose in front to rinse your feet before you come inside...
Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
I was called by the property owner and was told that the property was no longer available (scheduled through VRBO) and that they were moving me. This is not allowed in accordance with the contract, but since there was a language barrier I accepted. I had to ask the owner many times to send me a map to the location in Mexico before they finally did. Communication was terrible. When we got to the property, it was in a bad location, there was trash all over the lot in front of the property, and there was old appliances littered every where. There was hardly any water flow in the sink, 1/2 role of toilet paper, and no bottled water supplied. (Mexico.). Since we were on a motorcycle and didn't want to drive into town he said he would give us a ride, but he sent a cab instead. After we left he tried to tell us that things were missing and broken which was a lie. This is place is a ripoff.
From time we arrived the owners went above and beyond to make sure we comfortable. Reasturant recommended were excellent. Really enjoyed stay, will be back
Internet out in our rental so we got upgrade to a villa on the beach absolutely stunning views
Got upgrade beautiful property the master bathroom hot water didn’t work but since it was a free upgrade we made it work no problem location is on almost private beach barely anybody was there, 10 minute walk to the boardwalk absolutely amazing spot
