Worst hotel experience ever... in any country
The place is in bad repair, shower tubs were painted over and peeling off. Electrical plugs are installed so poorly charger feel out and critical devices did not charge over night. There are no USB plugs in some rooms. Vending machines do not work, there are no nearby convenience stores.Desk help was incompetent, and because of a booking error (my fault) they locked my luggage in a storage room all night that they claimed they had no key for. They would/did not call manger and instead i did not sleep all night because cpap machine was in storage. Young woman attendant seemed annoyed that she had to work instead of talking on the phone. she lied repeatedly to me all night , and in the morning was more concerned that a homeless man was dumpster diving thatn to resolve the problem. because of booking error i was charged double from the rate that i stayed there for two nights. Worse yet the keys do no work on any night, and when I told them it did not work again and gave room number attendant gave me the key to the new traveller and I walked in on her causing quite a scene. Manager was nice, cleaning lady quite professional, but the staff was a clown show. Would not reccomend at any price

Don't stay here!
First off, the name is very mis-leading to exhausted travelers quickly looking for a place to stay - Wyndham/ convention center. It was simply gross. The bedspreads were stained. The blankets were as thin as paper towels, the mattress - HA! I was so grossed out I used my beach towels to sleep in. It was a "non- smoking" room (which I thought ALL rooms were now-a-days) that reaked of smoke smell and had cigarette burns on the bathroom counter. The absolutely, most disgusting thing was the used q-tip in the "new" folded wash cloth. If they didn't even catch and clean that was the washcloth clean? The towels? The sheets? Just gross!

Don’t Stay Here!!
Parking was a nightmare! Not enough spaces and very small so hard to get into space. Came back to hotel late after event and no spots were available. Also no parking on surrounding area. Had to park several blocks away in a not so great neighborhood and walk to the hotel late at night by myself. Also one sink faucet leaked and only had cold water. The other sink only had hot. The flush handle on toilet was broken as well.

Honestly worst place I’ve ever stayed at. The toilet wasn’t working properly called the front desk and told them. They said they would be up in 5 mins to check it out, never stopped by. Saw one of the cleaning ladies and told them about the bathroom, said she’ll send someone up to check it out and nothing. Also asked the lady for extra towels and nothing. The light in the bathroom wasn’t working either, literally showered with no light.

Bait and switch! After getting stranded in San Diego due to a cancelled flight, we booked a room here because it was cheap and close to the airport. I guess my expectations for a cheap room by Wyndham were waaaaay too high. The smell hit me first. Like death! The room was supposed to have a queen bed. Instead it was a full sized bed on a rickety metal frame that didn’t even look like two people could sit on it, let alone sleep on it. Then there was white powder in patches all over the floor. Like they were trying to kill mites or cockroaches and just left it there. I GUARANTEE this is a ploy to get people to upgrade. So guess what we did. Upgraded. For $10 more to a room nearly as bad. The whole thing looked like 1981. A/c not on. Run down. Bad smell. No curtains. Hairs on the bathroom floor. Yikes! I know it was cheap but I would not expected Wyndham to put their name on this. Pay $15 more and go somewhere else!

Room was nothing like the picture on Expedia. The room was unfinished, including the bathroom. The room smelled musty and carpet was damp. I needed to ask for shampoo since there was none in the room and was given barely enough for one person.

Not good at all, the bathroom was in terrible shape and smelled. Not very clean and no HOT WATER!! we both had to take a cold SHOWER at 5:30 am. The worst experience at this hotel.

No breakfast though advertised that there is breakfast. Air conditioner blew up and I cpuld still smell the remnants when I checked in. Bedding had holes in it. Walls had remnants of beginning of patchwork? For Wyndham? For $189 a night, I woukd have been happy with at least breakfast.

It looked nothing like the photos. Did not like that it was literally at the freeway exit. Though I appreciate that it was apparent that they did clean, the cleaning products they used were so toxically strong when we walked in we were gagging. I had to spray perfumes to drown out the smell. No one was at the front desk for a long time when we arrived. They had trouble finding our bookings, and we tried a few times to use our AAA discount, which is totally standard everywhere and they couldn't figure out how to do it. And for the price they charged, $275 a room? Ridiculous for what you got. This room wasn't worth $79. And no coffee maker in the room. I absolutely do not recommend this place.
