Stylish 2-Bdrm Suite with Prvt deck & City Views!

This modern, spacious (2 full bedrooms) and private suite is steps to Little Italy, Harbor Front & Balboa Park, with many restaurants in walking distance (5min). This NO PET unit has all new kitchen, bedrooms & air conditioning; is in central location & also a short distance from the airport (8 min Uber). With a walk score of 94 this is perfect for executives, business travelers, couples, adventurers, or small family.

The Space;
This is a newly modernized 2 bedroom suite that is uniquely open, spacious and functional. The renovation includes all new appliances, counter tops, backsplash, island, lighting and furnishings. It is a clean and functional space that provides a comfortable and pleasurable experience whether you are here for work, play or both. Please read the house rules before making a reservation to make sure you are happy with all our requirements especially for longer term bookings. For the safety of our other residents, PETS or other animals are not permitted in this small, gated community.

Guest access;
Guests have full access to the entire suite with its own front door. It is a private and quiet space suitable for work people or vacationing people. The laundry room is in the shared space beneath the property so guests are given a key for both the suite front door and the laundry room.

Other things to note;
This suite is on the 1st floor up from the courtyard (about 15 steps). We are also close to the airport so you may hear noise from the planes now and again - as is the whole of Little Italy; but we have quad pane doors & windows so you will sleep ok!

No smoking - means no smoking of ANY kind ANY where on the premises. This includes e-cigs, cigars, vaporizers, hookahs etc. No un-authorized extra guests. Discovery of either above you will forfeit the rent/deposit and be asked to leave the premises. If you see anyone with a PET, smoking or are being affected by someone with a PET (or other animal) or someone smoking on the premises, please let us know!

Lastly, because this is a small gated community, we have external cctv in the common courtyard area to provide assurance for the host property & safety of guests (& contractors) alike.

BEWARE - CAUTION - BEWARE - CAUTION
In my 65 years of life, I have never written a negative review. Our car was damaged in their lot. When asked for security video, they wrote “For the security footage, I'm sorry but it is really low resolution & we can only make out rough shapes & movement”. My son is in SD, we had not planned to stay at the condo. We received a charge for 2 addl people. I gladly offered to pay addl $$$ for my son but the owner insisted paying extra $$ for 2 people. They wrote, “other cameras as it is quite clear from the time-stamped videos of 4 people arriving”. Upon arrival, my A I son had a strong suspicion there were 2 hidden cameras in the condo. I now believe that was possibly correct. How could the owners state, “low resolution cameras for shapes” then change to “Quite clear videos” within hours. In the courtyard, a repair person was on a high ladder with a vacuum cleaner causing a dangerous situation walking past. At check in/out, there is no check list. They attempted another money grab, “In sink disposer was no longer functioning & had to be replaced. We test before & after guests visit. $$$+$$$”. I am surprised they did not try other “money grab” for missing fan globe & bulbs, broken blinds, faulty internet, faulty balcony boards, low water pressure, bad lighting, etc. If you decide to stay, allow time to check in to scan the place from top to bottom. Take 100’s of pictures & document any issues. Test everything. It would be much easier just to stay elsewhere

San Diego Reunion Trip
Overall the VRBO was extremely clean and beyond suitable for three people. The bedrooms were comfortable and the a/c units worked great. However, The living room furniture was stained in spots, there was no britta or filtered water, and the coffee maker did not work as it leaked all over the counter when we attempted to use it the first day. These two things were fixed with a quick shopping order when we arrived however. The apartment itself was very comfortable but not in the most ideal area. Even to walk to the closest mini-mart, restaurant, or bar you needed to make your way on the street and under a bridge due to the sidewalks being covered with homeless tents. If I went back I would definitely choose Pacific Beach as the location to stay. Again but once past those specific things little Italy is superb and wonderful you are also so close to the water which is a plus! Overall amazing trip.

Cozy Apartment in Perfect Location
This place is perfect for a friends getaway or small family! My friend and I came to San Diego for a T triathlon at Liberty Station and knew we wanted to stay close to Little Italy. This place is steps from Little Italy, you walk under an overpass and you’re in the heart of all the pasta and gelato your heart can desire. There was plenty of parking at the unit, and the unit felt safe and secure. It is close to the San Diego airport, so there are times when the approach path comes right over the unit. However, I really didn’t notice too much once inside. The hosts were helpful and quick to communicate. I can’t wait to come back with my little family to explore more of San Diego!

Roomy Condo with all the Essentials
Good price for a nice sized place near little Italy. Easy Uber to most places in downtown for $10-15. The area is walkable for all but not really safe for families. Would definitely return if the price stays the same and if SD can get the homeless population under control.

Property was set up well in advance with proper things to make your stay convenient! (Towels, pots, pans, dishes etc…) property was well kept and shower was clean which is always a priority for me! Overall good stay in a great area, Highly recommended!!

Good for location and parking
Overall good property, parking was plentiful, good location close to little Italy. Very near to where planes fly over for the airport, which was pretty cool and made for some good pictures, the noise wasn't really that distracting at night. Could use a light touch remodel, bathroom and shower are showing signs of wear, and lots of wires running everywhere. We did have issues with the WiFi, and didn't hear back from property manager for 36 hours after reporting issue (to be told it must be my problem). Glad I wasn't trying to work remote here or this would have been a show stopping problem.
