The Neighborhood:
Sunset Cliffs is a serene coastal neighborhood located in Point Loma, San Diego. The community is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the West and the neighborhood of Ocean Beach to the North, and Sunset Cliffs natural park to the South. Sunset Cliffs is named after the cliffs which border the community to the West. This neighborhood is home to some of the best surf spots in San Diego. “The Cliffs” is the name most locals use when referring to this neighborhood. Some characteristics of this area include popular trails along the cliff edge, homes perched high up on the hillside overlooking the Pacific and Sunset Cliffs Boulevard. Sunset Cliffs Boulevard is a popular car cruising destination. People take their time when driving through Sunset Cliffs hoping to catch surfers on their next big wave and enjoying the famous sunsets.
Getting Around:
Once in town, most everything can be done on foot! We're also a short drive or Uber to Downtown, Convention Center, Gas Lamp, Harbor, Waterfront, Seaport Village, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, and so much more!
Other Things to Note:
Our checkout instructions only ask that you be sure you have all your things, turn everything off, lock the door on your way out, and we'll take care of the rest. We do not ask that you do laundry, dishes, trash etc like many hosts do.
Guests must agree to our Good Neighbor Policy.
Noise
Our home is intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties of any kind are not allowed.
Occupancy
We strictly adhere to our advertised maximum occupancy levels at each home. No exceptions are made for any reason. The number of guests cannot exceed the listed maximum occupancy for the property.
Parking
To ensure guests know where they can and cannot park, detailed parking instructions are provided including images of designated spots. We encourage guests to adhere to posted parking regulations and be mindful not to block neighboring driveways.
Trash
Part of being a good neighbor is cleaning up after yourself. Guests are provided with trash pick-up days and instructed to bring bins out during applicable days. We utilize a trash valet service at select properties to ensure our properties are kept clean of trash and debris.
Interaction with Guests:
Do not hesitate to reach out if there is anything at all that you need. We have found that many of our guests appreciate to be unbothered throughout their stay; however, we pride ourselves on creating the best experience possible for our guests and are always available if a guest needs anything!
