OCEAN VIEW Family Beach House 4BR 3BA Open Concept just 4 block walk to beach!

This 3200 sq" 4 bedroom, 3 bath, open concept, Spanish style villa, comfortably sleeps 10 guests and is located above downtown Ocean Beach with views of the Pacific Ocean, Mission Bay/Beach and Soledad Mountain. Just 3 miles from SD International Airport, the home itself is a short 4 blocks to the sand. It is air conditioned and has upgraded 2000 GB fiber optic WiFi available from AT&T. It has the highest grade insulation (R-23) as a barrier to internal & external sound plus dual pane windows throughout. The main floors and stairs are European Oak. Ceilings are 9', lighting is all LED, and you'll find ceiling fans throughout the home. Doors are stain grade Knotty Alder, all 8' tall. The kitchen was designed with the gourmet cook in mind. All appliances are top of the line and cooking utensils are extensive. You’re only a short walk to the beach and business district – a wonderfully eclectic small town offering 60+ restaurants, shops and entertainment venues.
Sea World is also nearby, close enough to see from the house, with occasional summer fireworks. Downtown San Diego is just a short drive, as is the famed San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park and the Old Globe Theater. If fishing interests you, hop over the hill to Pt. Loma and Shelter Island, or if you’re a golfer, River Walk is just 4 miles down the freeway. Uber is $25 one way to the famed Gas Lamp district downtown as well as Little Italy and Old Town near Presidio Park.

The driveway to the house can accommodate two vehicles. Step into the street in front of the house for a view to the end of the famous Ocean Beach Pier and beyond. Seagulls, parrots and the sound of ocean waves will greet you as you step into the house to an open and spacious living area filled with stylish furniture and a cozy fireplace – perfect for curling up with your favorite book. The dining room has a wall of windows with doors that open up to the wrap-around deck, complete with a 3-burner Weber gas grill and chaise loungers where you can soak up the big, beautiful, blue skies and ocean views, famous to southern California. The view from this deck is magnificent and words alone cannot describe the majestic scene that is sure to take your breath away. A fire table provides that special evening ambiance to gather and talk about the days activities.

The King master with en-suite shower/tub bath is located on the main level of the house and boasts Pella sliding glass doors to the attached deck with Pacific Ocean white water views to take in as you relax on your king size bed. Keep the doors open in the evening to relish in the ocean breezes and barking seals as they play on the Ocean Beach jetty. This house is very private. Locked gates protect all access other than the front door.

The front Queen bedroom, also with an en-suite bath with walk in shower, is complete with top of the line sheets and pillows, night stands, chest of drawers, generous closet, ceiling fan, and gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean.

Across the hall, a bunk bed room sleeps 2 on a full size memory foam mattress and a single on top provides additional sleeping arrangements. A work desk is set up in this room with rolling desk chair and internet hookup all behind a beautiful 5' sliding barn door. All bedrooms come with plush pile carpeting.

The fourth bedroom, downstairs, is privately separate from the rest of the house, may be accessed internally or externally, and is located on the lower level with an attached full bath with walk-in shower. There is also a recreation/living room located downstairs with a 45" flat screen TV, futon couch, foosball, and Pac Man video game. Additional sleeping arrangements are available, in this area, in the form of a single or Queen size Aero Bed as well as the futon. A full outdoor patio and BBQ with westerly views of the Pacific is located within this area as well.

******Please note that there is an upstairs owners unit that is completely separate from the main house. It is NOT included in your reservation. It does have its own entrance, thus the coming and goings of you and your group will not be disrupted in any way. The owners may or may not be in residence during your stay.******


Even with over 60 options of restaurants, all within walking distance, ranging from barefoot off the beach to upscale and elegant, there will still be times where making a wonderful meal at home can add to the relaxing vacation experience. Good thing the kitchen features everything you need. All the appliances; gas stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, utensils, pots, pans, toaster, high speed blender, dishes, coffee pot, espresso maker, crock pot, rice cooker, and more, are all here and ready for your convenience. There is also a pack ‘n’ play, with bedding, a white noise machine, and high-end high chair for our visitors with little ones.
