A slice of heaven
We stayed here 9 nights and had a wonderful experience. The view is worth every penny spent. We had an issue and the owners took care of it quickly. They are kind and truly wanted to make sure our stay was perfect. This is my 5th time renting here, I will be back.

This was the best location!! You are so close to the water but not too close to the boardwalk where everyone who walks by is watching you. The views of the water are amazing and the studio had just enough space for us two. Owners were responsive and helpful!

Great location, not too noisy. Awesome views, windows, balcony. It's tiny but finishes, kitchen, jetted tub/BR are awesome. It was difficult to leave.

Small but comfortable unit. Nice ocean view and breeze. We used the grill and outside seating area a lot. We did have a few issues when we checked in but the host was prompt with our concerns. The two negatives would be the patio lounge chairs which are falling apart and need to be replaced. Smoke detector beeped on and off and was never addressed. It stopped after the second night. Lots of flies this year, it's was our 4th year and never had a fly problem in the past.

I loved Mission Beach. Property was perfect location and worked fine for 2 of us to be comfortable. Perfect neighborhood for a no car vacation. Best food and fun is within easy walking distance.

Cute, clean, and contemporary place right by the ocean. Liked the option for hot baths and BBQs and reserved parking is always a plus at the ocean. Loved listening to the waves all night and the cool ocean breeze.

Great find right on the beach!
Such a cute little studio and SO CLOSE to the beach. Loved the location and listening to the ocean waves all night. And to have such a large kitchen the small space was wonderful. Full size oven and full size refrigerator. Meal prep was oh, so easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Location location location
Phenomenal experience on Mission Beach - the location of this property is fantastic. Far enough away from Belmont Park for a peaceful stay but close enough to enjoy the fun! The property is small, being a studio, but perfectly sized for a single occupant or a couple. The space has all the amenities needed to enjoy your time on the beach. The parking location was somewhat challenging to find considering I showed up at night and was unfamiliar with the streets. A map would have been ideal to help locate this. Great stay overall and I look forward to returning to Mission Beach!

Beautiful View of Ocean/Beach. We loved that all of the sliders opened up to make you feel and hear all of the Ocean Breeze and noises. The Murphy bed was comfortable and easy to use. The kitchen had everything we need to cook in. The quality of supplies was excellent. Everything was clean and upgraded. The Bathtub/Shower is a little difficult to get in and out of.

Perfect Peaceful and Quiet!!!
I stayed here for a week. The unit was well located and close to everything! I kept the windows opened and would wake and fall asleep to the sound of the waves as they crashed up on the beach. I took long walks along the beach's edge and wrote my book at the table looking out at the fantastic view. It was enjoyable watching all of the people walking their dogs, runners, surfers, and bicycle riders as they walked up and down the boardwalk. The unit was very clean, well stocked and very quiet. I will most definitely stay again.

The unit was clean but smaller than we expected. It was warm inside when we arrived so we opened the 2 sliders on the ocean side. There are no other windows or doors to open, so there is no cross breeze. The 2-story ceiling makes the unit feel larger than it is. The balcony is just large enough to stand on. It would have been nice to have space to sit and enjoy the view. The is the 2nd building in, so this is an unobstructed view of the beach. The complete kitchen was nice to have. The unit has a murphy bed & a loft. The loft is accessible using a ladder but I felt it would have been dangerous to go up there & try to get back down, as the bottom of the ladder rests against the small couch that is in the unit. Plus if you are in the loft, you look straight down into the bathroom so anyone using the bathroom would have absolutely no privacy. During the second night of our stay the Murphy bed broke - the mattress fell through the frame at 1 a.m., so we cut our stay a day short becuase there was no way the handyman was going to fix the issue in a day. The hosts were quick to respond & did issue a refund for the 1 night. The bathroom shower is not the best design. It is a jacuzzi tub with a rain shower head and no shower curtain or door. The tub is deep & difficult to get into - the exposed access to the tub is small. - it is jammed into a nook. The only way to turn on the shower head is to be in the tub & be under it. I did like that we were so close to the beach.

Beautiful ocean "front" property. Can see the shore from every vantage point in unit except the bath. Bed is comfortable, modern, and convenient "Murphy" bed. Appliances all in top notch condition, large and attractive. Place is much smaller than it appears in photos. That said, the view, ocean air, floor to ceiling rollback windows makes it ALL terrific. Thanks!

A little disappointed in the room.
The place could have been cleaner. Sliding door did not lock. Shower/tub very hard to get in to. Tenants on 1st floor had a huge Ram Truck & left early each morning revving it up and waking us up which was very inconsiderate.

The location is great if you plan to spend all your time at the beach. I loved my daily runs on the boardwalk and the proximity to the bay. The property itself was awkward though, they layout is a mixture of longterm tenants and vacation renters. It's part of an apartment complex with limited privacy. It is updated but outdated all the same. It is hot and muggy in the unit with no AC. The hot water heater needs replacing and showers were cold.

Modern Studio with a Fantastic View of the Beach
We really enjoyed our month long stay in this beautiful modern studio just steps from the beach. It has floor to ceiling windows and a small balcony that not only give a sense of space but also allow for a spectacular view of the ocean. It is wonderful falling asleep listening to the waves. There is a fully functional modern kitchen with great appliances including a new oven. The full bath is spacious for a studio. There is a very comfortable queen sized Murphy bed. You are minutes to all San Diego has to offer (i.e., SeaWorld, Old Town, whale watching) if you can tear yourself from the beach. There are beach chairs, etc. and access to a gas barbecue, as well. It is a surprisingly quiet and relaxing place just a few steps from the sometimes busy ocean front walk. There are bike rentals, great restaurants, a charming bakery and coffee all within walking distance. The hosts, Steve and Dee, are very gracious, easily accessible and quick to respond to any issues that might arise. We hope to return again and again to this lovely place.

Nice modern unit for 2 w great location for in the middle of strip, people friendly, great weather; Would be better if: clearer directions to unit/pkg space map too small. No lighting on ground floor or steps or interior hallway, unsafe for all, esp. seniors. Also tub height unsafe. need fluffier newer towels. Tourist book needs updating (no websites, closures). 2 cracked glasses - modern melamine dishes would be better for outside dining. not enough hooks/hangers or places for wet swimware - this is a beach trip!. provide luggage racks for luggage. No TV service ever reached, barely Netflix. Thanks for Arnie contact info, he responded to door lock issue - needs oiling and rusty lockbox . Thanks for beach chairs and towels. Met cleaning crew and thanked them. Thank you.

Enjoyed one stay but we're not coming back
Location and views were excellent. But there were several issues with the property. The electric space heater did not work and we needed to run the oven with the door open to heat the space. The sofa was not usable. The loft was filthy and not usable. The eyesore of an old TV rack on the wall needs to be removed. The bath tub is a safety issue as we both slipped getting in and out. Parking space description was inadequate (I was blocked in 3 times with folks parking illegally right next to me). There needs to be a map link to the parking space location and also the property location. We asked a lot of folks and even close neighbors did not know where it was.

Unfortunately the key to front door was very hard to work. The lock in the bathroom didn’t work at all and the ladder to go up to the other bed was very tuff for my Brother it would be more efficient if there was some type of Handel to hold on to especially coming dow that I did find dangerous. And unfortunately because all the apartments are separately owned. There seems miscommunication. We were there 3 nites and every nite there were people out by the grill area being loud until 12 pm. That was definite annoying, and the tub was not to my liking. My brother took a shower and said the water was so hot. Would not coo down. Also there are no lights going down the walkway to stairs and no lighting Going up the stair which is also dangerous.your property was situated great a great view the sound of the waves was also incredible.
