Lots of "extras" made this a convenient stay in a good location. Doug provided a lot of good info. We followed that, especially concerning the parking, and had no issues.

Family Vacation
The rental was everything that they said it was: clean, within walking distance to restaurants, the beach or bay. The owners were helpful. Parking was a little difficult, but only because we had a big truck. We still fit though. We would stay again.

Close to the beach
This apartment was super close to the beach. Parking was a bit difficult but it always is in Mission Beach. Has all the things you need for a short stay. The area is very loud so I wouldn’t stay here if you are looking for quiet. I would stay if you are looking to maximize your beach time!

Amazing little getaway!
This was the perfect spot for my wife, mother and daughter. We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach, restaurants and stores. Very tidy and comfy right when you walk in the door. The owner was very easy to reach and was helpful with everything we needed. We will stay here again in the future. Thanks Doug!

Great location!!
The place was very clean upon arrival. It was roomy and had a ton of storage for us to unpack and not live out of our bags. Kitchen had everything we needed to make dinners. The location to the beach was perfect - just a minute walk!! We were worried about parking but we were able to find a spot upon arrival and the one time we drove somewhere. Communication with Doug was awesome!! We will stay here again for sure!

Great Place! Great location!
Loved the property. We had two teenagers and an 11 year old along with my wife and I. Property was 50 or less steps to the beach and boardwalk. Property was clean. Doug was great to message back and forth. There was an outside shower to wash the sand off before going in the property. Great location with lots of walking options along the boardwalk. Fantastic stay. Will want to stay here again.

Mission Beach Getaway
We had a great time staying at Doug’s place! Myself and a few friends all met up for a weekend in Mission Beach and we were not disappointed. The place was nice, clean and up to date. The neighbors were friendly and we were less than a minute walk from the beach! It was a great area to stay in, we had a great time at the local bars and cafes, Moe’s is a must visit if you stay here! We were provided with everything we needed to have a fun and comfortable stay. I will definitely be back with my family and friends in the future!

San Diego short Vacation
The apartment was very clean but basic. Towels and bedding all good but maybe more glasses and plates etc. Water and Ice Maker was excellent. Location is excellent for the beach and local facilities, supermarkets, bars etc. Exterior of the property has little curb appeal. Check-In scheduled for 4 pm strictly can lead to hanging around with cases etc. You can hear neighbours around you so can be a little noisy but more through conversation than having large parties etc. In summary we had an excellent stay in an apartment that did what it promised.

Perfect place!!!
This place is amazing!! Everything worked great, it’s very clean and very close to the beach!! Doug was great when we had a question!! I highly recommend this place. As an FYI, plan on bringing your own chairs or rent from down the street, as others always had the chairs. Plenty of boogie boards and toys though!!

A Lovely Nine Day Stay
Doug is an excellent host. My mother and kids had a great stay. The check-in and check-out process was simple, including finding the unit. My kids and I enjoyed being close to the beach, and we would do our nightly trek to watch the sunset. We'd love to stay again if we head back to San Diego.

Clean and close to beach
Location can’t be beat. Inside is clean and nicely updated. No dining table but there are picnic tables outside. Super close to beach. Pretty basic as far as amenities (no beach chairs or umbrella or cooler - things we have typically seen at other similarly priced rentals ) no wine opener in the kitchen. Fine for kids but it’s a 2nd floor unit no elevator so tricky with strollers or toddlers. Half of the parking spots are along the building and road and unless you have a tiny car you’ll hang over the sidewalk which unfortunately resulted in a $60 parking ticket for us. Under cover parking was fine when it was available but recommend a small car either way. Or no car. Had a minor issue and the owner responded quickly to help and promptly and generously reimbursed me for an expense which was much appreciated Overall a fine mission beach rental (maybe not “luxury” but comfortable)

Very Clean and Accomodating
The property looks like a normal apartment from the outside but the actual rental was beautiful. There is a full kitchen with open space to the living room. Streaming channels are included and they have fast internet/wifi. Can't say the same for hotels. Keep in mind that if you have a big SUV, you will have parking issues. We have a Ford Escape and that fit perfectly. Beds were clean and there were plenty of towels. We would definitely stay here again. Owner was very responsive and helpful when we had questions.
