A Beautiful two story, 3 Bed 2 Bath townhouse Ocean View, nestled in the most desirable location in Pacific Beach, North PB. Located at 878 Tourmaline St. Tourmaline Beach, restaurants, and grocery store are less than 2 blocks away (5 min walk).

A Beautiful two story, 3 Bedroom 2 Bath townhouse, nestled in the most desirable location in Pacific Beach, North PB. Located at 878 Tourmaline St., Tourmaline Beach and Surf Park are less than 2 blocks away (5 min walk). We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood, within walking distance to some of the best restaurants in San Diego along with great night life nearby. Great coffee shops, a grocery store and Bird Rock (la Jolla), Turquoise Shopping ect.; Far enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy it! You will Love this Home. It is very well done with an open layout, nice new kitchen, tile throughout, a beautiful slate mosaic courtyard in the front and a redwood deck off the back. We have a private parking space, picnic area with BBQ and have wonderful landscaping throughout.

This Home is high end and well appointed. It comes complete with a 3 plasma televisions, Wi-Fi, Cable TV, fully equipped and stocked kitchen, dining table, sleeper couch, 2 chest of drawers, a king bed, a queen bed, a full/twin combo bunk bed, (fresh linens included), and beach essentials! You will find everything you need to enjoy the beach! Beach chairs, fresh towels, boogie boards, and a Soft Surfboard. A Beautiful font and back deck perfect for morning coffee or tea or an afternoon.


Within 5-20 minutes (2-8 miles) is SeaWorld, the world famous San Diego Zoo, Gas Lamp District, Embarcadero with it's ship museums like the Midway and the Star of India, Old Town with it's excellent Mexican Restaurants, Belmont Park & it's authentic 1920's wooden roller-coaster, SeaPort Village, downtown San Diego's GasLamp Quarter, the Convention Center & Petco Park, beautiful Balboa Park with lots of museums,
30 min to LegoLand, 40 min to The Wild Animal Park, 75 minutes to the quaint historic gold rush town of Julian, in the mountains, & another 30 minutes beyond that is beautiful Anza Borrego Desert State Park,
Even Disneyland & Knotts Berry Farm can be done as a day trip, Mexico is only 25 minutes away, Local activities include Swimming, Concerts, & Indian Gaming Casinos.

The entire place is yours to use! Guests have access to Coin operated Washer and Dryer, Soft Surfboard, Boogie Boards, Beach Chairs, Beach Toys, Cooler with wheels, BBQ, and one Private Parking Spot on the alley side of the building. Please note that the outdoor space is shared.

I love the great family and beach feel of the neighborhood, the walkability to great restaurants, bars, shopping and most importantly the beach. I always enjoy going to Leilani's Hawaiian food, Fig Tree Cafe, The Fishery, Oscars's, and Albertsons just one-two blocks away. I find that I do very little driving when I'm staying in the neighborhood and really enjoy walking the neighborhood. North PB is a perfect blend between La Jolla and Pacific Beach and we are truly blessed to call such a wonderful place home.

RENTAL RULES

1. Smoking is not allowed in the unit.

2. A group larger than the number of guests disclosed at the time of reservation may not stay overnight in the property. The property has a limit of 10 persons (8 staying plus 2 guests visiting) on the property at any time, including the guests renting the home. No get-togethers/functions/parties allowed without expressed written consent from management.

3. All of the units are privately owned; the OWNERS are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The OWNERS are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

4. NO PARTIES. Outside Quiet hours are between 9 pm and 8 am. This is a residential neighborhood, so please respect the privacy of your neighbors. Neighbors are very sensitive to noise and will notify property owner immediately of any disturbances.

5. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.

6. Only use furniture/appliances for their intended uses.

7. Pets are permitted only with prior approval and payment of the pet fee. Pets must stay off the furniture. An extra charged will be assessed for any feces left behind in the yard (if applicable), or any damage done in the unit. A $200 charge will be assessed for any pet not disclosed and approved of.

8. Provided parking is limited to 1 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas as outlined in the welcome letter. Any additional cars will need to be parked on the street. Please pay attention to posted signs. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

9. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. Only beach towels are permitted to be taken to the beach. Please keep all white towels in the unit.

10. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Only use appliances, furniture, and electronics for their intended uses. Do not move/rearrange furniture/decorations in the unit or decorate with any tape, glue or adhesive of any kind. Appliances and Electronics are not guaranteed; Repairs will be made as soon as possible. No refund due to failure. Refunds made if due to act of god (e.g. fire, mandatory evacuation, etc.)

11. Beach Equipment: Recreational beach toys/equipment is provider by OWNER. GUEST assumes all responsibility of provided equipment. Please clean all sand and debris off beach equipment after use.

12. Abusive/Offensive language will not be tolerated. OWNER can dismiss GUEST at any time due to Abusive/Offensive language towards guests, neighbors, agents of the owner, as well as the owner.

13. Coin Laundry machines are provided for your convenience. Laundry hours are from 8:00am-9:00pm daily. Please keep laundry room/area clean at all times. Clear out all lint traps before/after every use. OWNER assumes no responsibility for any damage/loss to personal belonging.

14. Please adhere to check in and check out times. Late check out or early check in is never guaranteed. Please check with management first and pay any associated fees if applicable.

We were looking for a good location and this place couldn't have been in a better spot. Less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Place was very clean and spacious!

Great family stay
This property's space and quiet neighborhood location worked out very well for our family group. With open living and generous bedroom spaces as well as two baths, we were all very comfortable. The beach and business districts are within easy walking distance. Richard, the host, was very responsive making communication easy. Definitely recommend!

We had the best time here. Great place for family, much bigger than we expected in a quiet and nice neighborhood. Walk to the beach is a little bit further than we thought but still walkable! Amazing restaurant near by called Leilani’s place that was a great find! House was well stocked and clean thank you for sharing with us!

Good location and amenities with clean, modern feel.
Had a great stay. Clean unit with newer/modern updates. Walking distance to multiple restaurant options and grocery. Less than 10 min walk to surfers beach (note-last 100 yards or so is paved sidewalk but kind of steep). Rental is part of a townhome style location so it’s great for a multi-family stay if renting both units. We would stay there again!

The property was clean and spacious. The night life is close enough to enjoy and still distant enough to enjoy peacefulness. There was transportation that was readily available (lyft/Uber). Everything was available in the home that you could possibly need! Great place!

Beach life
We stayed 2 blocks from Tourmaline surf park, a funky surfing beach. Walked it everyday. Plenty of restaurants to walk to. Joined a gym I could walk to and my husband biked go pickle ball. Some friends visited and it was great. Good kitchen for group meals. If we needed anything it was taken care of right away. Such a great location.

Our Great Stay
We had an amazing stay at this property. For future visitors just show up! He has equipped this property with everything you need right down to ziplock bags. The property is so comfortable we felt right at home. Short walk to the beach, restaurants, a bakery and a couple of coffee shops. The parking in back is tight but we were sharing with someone with a large SUV. Plenty of street parking. Had a pleasant chat with the staff that works on the property….so nice! I am already looking forward to our next stay.

This property is in a great location if you don't mind a short walk to the beach. The duplex had everything you need for a relaxing day at the beach. This duplex does not face the street. It is behind a house that is actually on the street. It didn't bother us as we were there for 2 nights and no one was using the other side of the duplex. We really enjoyed our stay. The duplex had everything we needed and is updated nicely. I'd rent again!

Nice place near everything
The place is just as described except, the patio upstairs is shared, the patio space is shared and both are super close to each other. We could hear the people outside the primary bedroom since the bedroom window is actually on their side. The people staying next to us were early risers and made no effort to talk quietly even when they were packing up at 6:45. The walls between units are paper thin. We had a nice time and loved walking to coffee, breakfast and the beach.

Nice place and location for a family trip
This was a perfect spot for our family vacation. It was clean and had everything we needed for our week stay. Easy walk to the beach and to restaurants. It should be noted in the listing that the laundry isn’t free, you have to use quarters. (Which is hard to find due to a coin shortage) When I booked this trip back in November no one had left a review about that info and I probably wouldn’t have booked this place because I like to pack lite and wash dirty beach towels every night. The king size bed frame is unbearably noisy and should be fixed and/or replaced. Aside from those complaints it was overall a great week and the owners were great with communication.

Good location, quiet place, too hands on though
Great location and a nice place. Only real downside was that the owner and maintenance staff showed up too many times. On the morning of checkout the maids showed up and started doing laundry 2.5 hours before we were supposed to leave. It felt very unwelcoming. They were also annoyed that we arrived a little early and wanted to drop off bags (we had no car). One of the beach cruisers wheel broke on a bike ride and that prompted a visit from the owner as well and $50. This was only a 3 day trip. Outside of that though, it was good.

Christmas in San Diego
Our party of 7 stayed here over the Christmas holiday. We had ample space and the unit met our needs and expectations. It's very close and within walking distance to the beach, grocery store and many dining establishments. The area is safe and we didn't hesitate to walk around PB at night. This unit does not stand alone as there appeared to be about 4 rentals on the property and it was a little tricky finding our unit upon arrival in the dark. Thankfully another tenant arrived at the same time and was able to show us the way to our unit. Don't let that deter you though - the place is spotless and in a great location. We used Uber and Lyft when we needed to get to Little Italy, Old Town, La Mesa, etc. and the services were efficient and reasonable. My only suggestions would be more towels and wash cloths - we had 7 people and could have used more. And the air mattress in the living room replaced a futon. It worked, but I think a futon would be more comfortable. We did meet the owner one day...very pleasant and welcoming. Prior to our stay he was very prompt in answering our questions, etc. Good communication. Overall, I would recommend this property. It's clean and in a great location!

Perfect for Family of 5
The location was great, and everything was as advertised. We were very thankful for a guaranteed parking space since good parking in SD is so hard to find. Gelson’s Market is a short walk away, so getting groceries for breakfast each day was a breeze. The Birrieria nearby was also awesome!
