It was nice and comfortable. The main doors are thin. You could hear people walking down the hallway. Provided enough supplies as well as the bathroom floor being heated was really nice.

The staff member that we were in contact with was extremely rude and unhelpful before checking in. There were random bags of garbage around the hotel, lots of things were broken and the pond was dirty and green. You get what you pay for but it would be worth paying a little more for a nicer stay.

I don't understand why is everyone giving such a low rating, for it's age is a decent stay. Yes it's old hotel, but when we got there, they had like 5 cleaning ladies cleaning all the premises day and night, vending machine is brand new, area around hotel is ok, there is a high school right behind it so I don't understand why anyone thinks is shady neighborhood like it is pretty decent, it is an extended stay hotel so the ladies will not come to clean your room unless you leave the sign on your door indicating so, you can grab towels, paper and toiletry from the lobby all day long no problem, AC in the room works and heather also, TV works and has decent amount of channels, there is hot water immediately in the shower and water pressure is good, there is a night guard onsite so your car is secure when you park it overnight, all in all we were super happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap very central stay in San Diego.

(Staff) a couple of weeks ago I made reservations to stay ( We always come to stay here) and some New staff younger girls were attending the counter and, my key became deactivated they looked it up and saw that it was in my sons name but, it also had my information my phone and email address and they told me ‘ that I’d have to wait for my son to get off work before they could issue me another key mind you I come here all the time , and was recognized by other Staff. I acted very professionally and just left! I had wait until my son got off work before I could get into the place where I initially made the reservations!
