Loved how close the hotel location was to restaurants, shopping, coffee shops. We walked to the beach and took us about 15min which wasn’t too bad if you’re trying to save time on looking for parking. The hotel was okay, our room was not modernized at all. It looked old, and beds were not the best nor the comfiest. We got to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi, was clean and a nice outside area. Parking was convenient, right by the lobby if you found one on the 1st level. Overall, our stay was good, but hotel can use some work in the rooms.

This place was average to below average. We had a family get together and I truly wished I had stayed at the Holiday Inn that was cheaper, cleaner, and better kept only minutes away. For some reason the description led me to believe it had charm. Absolutely not. And the walls were the most paper thin of any place I believe I have ever stayed. Only way I would return is if I needed a place to stay with my dog, which they accept.

Had high hopes for this property. The floor felt nasty in our room. Windows didn’t work & paint all over actual windows. Holes in walls everywhere. And the pool was closed.

We stayed 5 nights at the Volare and it was great! We could walk to a number of dining places and lots of cute shops too! Conveniently located by the freeway, and surprisingly the room was very quiet. Location is very close to the beach. Free coffee and cookies each day in the lobby. The parking was also free and underground for extra convenience. The only downside was the pool and spa were sadly not available and that was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. Overall we had a great experience here and will definitely stay again.

The road noise can be an issue if you are a light sleeper, but the location makes up for wearing ear plugs. Note, the front desk is sometimes unmanned and you will have to wait a few minutes as there appears to be only one person on staff at a time. This could also be because we were there starting New Year’s Day. The location is truly ideal and it only takes a few minutes to walk to shops and restaurants. You can walk to the pier (the return is uphill), in about 15 minutes. Awesome! Overall, we will look to stay there again.

This hotel is reasonably priced and within walking distance to the pier and several restaurants and shops. There was coffee in the lounge with creamers, but no creamers in the room. The room itself was clean, but the carpet had strange lumps. The walls are pretty thin, so we could hear the shower and toilet flushing next door in addition to hearing our upstairs neighbors walking across the floor.
