Jungla de Panama

2.0 star property
6.4 out of 10, (7)
"Pros: The area is ideal for nature lovers, it's cheap, easy check in, staff is friendly, you get to meet and feed interesting and friendly animals for example parrots, monkeys, cats ducks, dogs, and goats. Also there is a fridge, stove and some cutlery in the kitchen. Cons: hygiene is very bad, no running water, toilet didn't work, mattress was very thin. The place would be good for one or two nights stay, but not more, because the hygiene is so bad and you can't shower."

Waterfall Hostel

2.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (3)
"I stayed for 3 nights and I had a wonderful experience. The waterfall is a hidden gem....so naturally beautiful. I swam everyday and listened at night for the sounds of the water. The owner is so nice and he will do anything to please its customers. I had a private room and it had air condition and private bathroom. There is a kitchen to cook....and the pools are huge to swim....water comes directly from the waterfall. To get there its very easy...just take a bus from David via Boquete and ask...

Autana Bed and Breakfast - Hostel

1.5 star property
7.2 out of 10, Good, (5)
"The location of this hostel is a bit removed from town but there are busitos available every hour to go in between for 1$ pp each way; as long as you're not too claustrophobic. Angel is fantastic for letting you know the times when they'll be coming through if you ask and will even message and watch for them if you need to catch one. Amenities are basic but comfortable. Wifi speed was about 4-5Mbps. Cleanliness was pretty great with only a few smaller issues that come from sharing a bathroom....
