"Far from everything we wanted, train, airport and city centre. Room was a nice size and clean, but we found it hot and even with the thermostat in the room we could not get it under 24C. Too warm for us, but I know that others would like it. Overall, a nice hotel and friendly staff."

"The location was fantastic. On the edge of the historic centre and only a short walk from Piazza Maggiore. The bed was excellent and the room was spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. "It was a single unit flat which we liked. It was absolutely good for privacy and quietness. The space inside the flat was very well organised, but small. It is close to the city, but at the same time quite and far from concrete and buildings. It was a pleasant stay, and with the good weather, in spring or summer it should be amazing! We staid in late October and it was rainy, so couldn’t enjoy the full potential of the property. "

"This a lovely, spacious family home, with updated facilities and an extensive garden. We met with Claudio, the owner, who is rightly proud of his home and provided a very helpful welcome to us when we arrived."

Have a car? Bus savvy? This is the place for you.

"The hotel is a ways out from the historic center, but the bus stops right in front of the hotel. Coming back, the bus doesn't return from the same location. The tourist office will tell you where. The staff was very kind and helpful. There is private parking behind the hotel. Would stay there again."

Holiday Inn Bologna - Fiera, an IHG Hotel

"Stayed here for an overnight on our way through the area. Easy to get to from Autostrada. We ate dinner here because we didn't want to have to go in search of a restaurant after the day's long drive. It was excellent, especially the Bolognese style lasagna. Great breakfast buffet with lots of fresh food choices. "
