Kids are free, so do not put the number of kids in your request for an estimate, or the web site will happily interpret them as extra adults at $50/night. Please note that short-term rentals in San Antonio are obliged to charge you a tax as of January, 2019. This applies if you are renting for less than 30 days and if you are NOT on government travel. The estimate you will get when you plug in your travel dates will include this tax, but I can remove it manually if you qualify.
This is a very cute, secure house on the edge of Beacon Hill, just off I-10, and very close to downtown, the Riverwalk, our military bases and our hospitals.
The house was completely remodeled in 2018, with furnishings and design selected by a professional designer. The future tea garden is in a private fenced area in back of the house is a work in progress, but already has a barbecue and seating.
The house and garden are designed to accommodate your dog with doggie door and fenced back yard.
I encourage monthly stays with a large discount.
I have tried to think of everything you might need, and the house contains all the amenities.
You will be within five minutes of Woodlawn Lake Park, which is a 20-30 acre lake with a path around it, swimming pool, dog park, playground, lawns, grills, benches, bird watching, people watching, docks and parades. Our favorite parade is the doggie parade in the Fall. A couple that stayed with us recently were on their way to Big Bend to photograph birds. They told me they had added 10 new birds to their Lifelist while at Woodlawn Lake.
There is a washer and dryer, ironing board and iron, detergent, and bleach supplied.
I do not drop in uninvited, but I will be at your doorstep if you so much as see a bug or need a light bulb changed or need to have something repaired. We are nearby and we are enthusiastic about our work. Lucy's job is to keep you busy while Jack and Jill locate and flip coins over any scraps of food they see. I try to focus on the problem, because getting involved with those three when they're in a rascal mood never ends well.
