We were held up until 5:15 waiting for our room when check in was at 4:00. There were half dead plants in the lobby and upholstered chairs that needed to be repaired. When we valet parked, no one asked if we needed help with our bags. When our room wasn't ready, no one asked if they could hold our bags while we wait. Just overall poor experience. Also, I did not know this, but everyone that checks in gets a "sales pitch" to buy one of their properties. You were lead to an area after being told they would be giving us "more information." It wasn't more information relevant to our stay, it was a sales pitch. I politely declined but was annoyed nonetheless. There are a ton of nice places to stay in San Antonio, I will not be staying here again.

The property is beautiful! The pool should be open at 9:00 am, the guest doors could use a quiet close, and housekeeping did not clean my room although I was there for 5 nights.

There is NO housekeeping which demerits the service considerably, it was a disappointment since when you make the reservation they don’t mention this. The restaurant closes for breakfast and lunch almost all week, which is also another disappointment leaving you only to get food at the coffee shop or outside the hotel.

This is overall a nice hotel that is part of a fun development with good dining and other retail options within walking distance. The big pluses for me were the spa and pool, both of which are well maintained and have nice amenities. Staff was friendly and the room was pretty nice so it made for a good spot for a weekend getaway.

Great trip
Excellent. Pool is awesome! They have a bar and a restaurant as well as open late. Indoor pool. Spa was excellent. They have a cafe. Valet only parking. There’s a bar and coffe shop as well as nice restaurants with in walking distance. No one even said a word about a tour for time share. We stayed 2 nights.

The place was nice enough, in a decent enough part of the city, but it was so poorly run. The staff is borderline incompetent. It’s like someone put a bunch of money into a nice property, but then nickel and dimes everything so the experience doesn’t match up with the environment and pictures. No wait staff at the pool deck, just a walk up bar. We asked for some extra limes with a mixed drink at the bar and were told to just take it as is, the drink is fine. No room service, so we ordered food from the restaurant to take up to the room and we’re going to wait. They forgot to add chicken to one of the salads, then made us wait an additional 20 minutes while they made the chicken, without an offer of a drink or anything while we waited. And the bartender when pouring the wine glasses was literally measuring out to the ounce the amount going into the glass, and at one point saw her pour some back that went over. Just an extreme example of the miserly way the management must run this place. And the food we did order was gross, ended up just going down to the store and got food from there, which was the only real saving grace to the place. And when we checked in were notified if we wanted towels or anything cleaned to leave it outside the door, on the ground, then the staff would come and pick it up and put clean ones back. Put the clean ones back in the room like a normal hotel? Absolutely not, they will put your clean towels and linens ON THE GROUND, outside your door. Absurd!!!
