Needs Work
We were disappointed on the readiness of the place upon our arrival. It needs a lot of things addressed before you rent it. Jay did his best to fix things, but they should have been done before our arrival.
First, some background and the good. We stayed for nearly a month because of serious medical procedures our family was undergoing. The location was great; a few minutes from the medical center. Layout of the property suited our needs well. Having the guest house was great. Except we weren't given the code to it and I had to contact the owner.
However, there were many, many things that need to be corrected before the arrival of guests. The whole place needs a deep cleaning. It could only be described as "grimy," food splatters on the cabinets and shelves, cobwebs in doorways, finger prints on cabinets and doorways. The flatware tray had something spilled in it, and there was lots of leftover food left in the pantry.
Here is a list of problems that need fixing:
Shower head terrible
No Broom, dustpan, mop
TV login instructions
Bad Thermostat settings
Dirty cabinets, spilled food
Closet shelves very dusty
Leftover open food
No smoke detector battery
No CO detector
Dirty silverware and holder
Pots and pans in terrible condition
Non working can opener, no kitchen scissors
Yard in terrible condition
Patio furniture broken down
Cobwebs
No ironing board
No Ping pong equipment
There are many other things that need to be addressed, but I'm limited to 1500 characters.
