"My son and I enjoyed staying at the house while on a trip for ski racing at Belleayre. The house was clean and set up well. It seems like it would be very nice in the warm months. There is no cell service anywhere nearby or even down"

"This was our fifth time staying at the cabin and as always it was perfect. We stayed the week of Thanksgiving and cooked a full feast easily with the appliances and cookware found in the kitchen. We even woke up to snow a few times that week. We enjoyed the hot tub at night and the fireplace each day. Beds are comfy, rooms are cozy and location is ideal. With close proximity to Woodstock, Tannersville and West Kill we were able visit some of our favorite places in the mountains. We’ll be back....

"Our stay was ideal. Our third time staying at Brooks Cottage. The home is spacious and cozy, the kitchen very well equipped and the setting beautiful and all just a quick walk to the center of Woodstock. Highly recommend for those wanting to be "in town" yet in a very private and quite setting."

"Some friends and our pups were looking to spend a nice weekend upstate with our dogs to relax and spend time, and this place was perfect. The location is GREAT! It is near hiking trails, some breweries/orchards and while we didn’t go to dinner, there were restaurants around as well. The house was as described, spacious and had a lot to offer. "I don't like to put negative energy out into the Universe BUT... from the steep slippery stairs to the upside down entry door to the lack of water- no water at all in the morning- then the sulfuric water. And then there was the creepy cat picture on the wall. We named the place the S King Lodge after our favorite horror writer. The stairs alone are a red red flag. No light at the top of these steep, jankily constructed danger. And then theres the inside for which the only word that suits the...

"We had a fabulous stay at Judy's place. The beds were very comfortable, and the location was good. When we had an issue with the furnace, the owner went out of her way to correct the problem and ensured that we were comfortable. We would recommend this place."
