Chalet Sokol is a luxury 4 bedroom ski chalet in Bulgaria's best known and established ski resort of Borovets. The Chalet, furnished to a high standard, has a cosy contemporary feel throughout and sleeps up to 9 people in 2 king bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, one with an extra truckle bed.The two king bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and there is a main bathroom with bath/shower. Crisp white bed linen and soft towels are provided in all bedrooms and bathrooms.
Designed over 3 floors Chalet Sokol has an open plan top floor with a comfy lounge, dining area and well equipped kitchen providing a great space for groups of friends and families to relax and socialise in after a day in the mountains. The cozy lounge area with its warming open fire has a 47" LCD TV, DVD player, ipod doc and a balcony with stunning views of the mountains and Borovets pistes. Logs for the fire are provided free of charge.
The chalet also has its own sauna, a cloakroom for ski/hiking gear, a boot cupboard and three sledges for guests to use.
During the ski season the resort operates a frequent shuttle service back and for to the ski slopes (£3.50pp/day) and can be booked at the resort reception every day.
Guests will also have free use of a heated indoor pool, sauna and hot tub open throughout the ski season only.
The Bistro and bar, also open in winter, offer a great menu of local and international dishes at great value for money prices.
In the summer guests can use sun loungers, umbrella's, comfortable seating and a hot tub in the resorts central courtyard to relax and recharge after days of exploring the stunning surroundings.
A small shop selling all the holiday essentials - milk, bread, butter, cheese, water, biscuits, crisps, beer, wine etc. etc. is open all year round.
We can organise airport transfers in winter when a car is not necessary, as well as ski packages including lessons and or equipment hire and lift passes.
For summer holidays we can recommend many wonderful places to visit from Lake Beaches to outdoor Spa Pools or hiking expeditions to the world famous Rila Lakes.
