You want to have plenty of space even on vacation, a beautiful, quiet, yet close to the center located apartment? You want a contactless check in and a separate entrance? You want a cleaning/desinfection that follows the recommendations of the CDC? Then you've just found your perfect apartment! It is located on the mezzanine floor of our townhouse that was built in the 1920s and has been family owned ever since then. Since July 2017 we provide AIR CONDITION and the apartment has been renovated in autumn 2017. It has a total size of 150 square yards and is divided into a spacious (53 squareyards), well-furnished living room with relaxing area (with satellite TV, DVD player, stereo), a bed sofa for 2 persons and a bay window, which invites you to relax. The apartment is furnished with a unique blend of antique and modern furniture. 2 bedrooms (1 with double bed, 1 with 2 single beds), a bed sofa for 2 persons and in the bay window of the living room another single bed.. Fully equipped kitchen with washer / dryer, dishwasher, stove / oven, microwave, fridge, filter and espresso coffee machine and a cosy dining corner. Bathroom with large shower, separate toilet with a second sink. Free WiFi access. As a special service for our guests, we also offer a variety of teas, coffee and espresso as well as 'basics' such as vinegar, oil, salt, etc. for free. If you travel with your Baby we can provide a baby cot as well as a high chair.
Our guests are invited to use our garden.
A garage space can be booked on request (additional cost € 10, - per day).
Non smoking apartment, no pets allowed.
The owner's family lives in the same house and will be glad to help you with information or anything else you might need.

Extremely comfortable stay
Our stay was delightful . Our hosts have provided accommodation which has luxurious space, fabulous cleanliness and is well appointed. The location is ideal as it is close to the river with a short walk to the old town and main attractions. We arrived by train and it was an easy walk with luggage and two four year olds. A beautiful space to relax and enjoy Salzburg.

Beautiful home in a lovely location-friendly hosts
The home was spacious and well-appointed with beautiful art throughout. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. FYI: The washer also dries, which was a special treat compared to the other places we stayed. And i slept so well with the automated exterior blinds, i almost missed checking out on time!

Wonderful property
This an amazing property with great service to make sure the guests are taken care of. The apartment is large and my kids enjoyed the owners dvd collection. The location is very close the center of town and all the activities that the tourists might want to do.

Wonderful stay you Salzburg
We loved this property. While not in the old town district of Salzburg, it provided a very quiet setting. My wife and I stayed here with my 89 year old mother. Once we got the hang of the bus system, which did not take long, transportation to old town and other areas of Salzburg was easy. There is a bus stop just a short distance from the residence. We really enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable and convenient to everything
We had a beautiful stay at Michaela and Wolfgang's home. They provided everything we needed for our week long stay. The train station, restaurants, and grocery stores are all very close and a short walk along the river gets you to the old town in no time. We can't wait to go back and hope to stay again!

Great apartment and wonderful host. A large apartment in Salzburg, minutes from all the main attractions. Street parking is not easy, but the host made her garage available for a small additional cost, but well worth it.

Small family had a great time
We stayed at this property for a week in the winter. It was perfect for our family of 4. The host was very accommodating and helpful for suggestions on where to take our small children. The property is in a good location; it is an easy walk to the historic center, restaurants, a nice brewery across the river, playgrounds, grocery stores, and the train station. The property was clean and well stocked with plates/pans and cooking basics like salt, oil, etc. Highly recommend.

Lovely living quarters
This property offers plenty of space, comfortable beds, quiet nights, and a safe environment. We enjoyed sufficient hot water for showers, cool breezes in the evening, and privacy. Several of the bus lines are only a few blocks away; the train station is a 15 minute walk. Our hostess has obviously given careful thought to what her guests might want or need during their stay such as paper towel, several spices, dishwasher and laundry detergents. She is easy to communicate with prior and during our stay. We would choose this lovely property again if we return to Salzburg.

Excellent apartment for family holiday in Salzburg
The apartment was spacious and comfortable and was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Location was excellent to walk into the city or convenient for both the bus and train station, Real hit with my 2 children 15 and 12 was wifi access which kept them happy! Good recommendations on local shops and restaurants from Michaela and information on a wide range of the attractions in Salzburg.

The perfect place for our visit to Salzburg!
We recently returned from a family vacation to Europe where we spent 6 days in Salzburg. This townhouse was the perfect spot for our family of 5 and Michaela was the perfect host (we really enjoyed the home made apple strudel :-) The location was great as it was a nice walk along the river to the old town and easy access to the train or freeway for day trips out of Salzburg. We'll definitely be back when we get a chance to return to Austria!

Wonderful Stay in Salzburg
Our family group of three had plenty of comfortable space in Michaela’s lovely apartment in Salzburg! It was easy to communicate with her before and during our stay. The parking space in their garage was very helpful to have during our stay. It was an easy walk to the river and the old town of Salzburg. We had a medical issue during our stay, and Michaela was so kind and helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Salzburg!

Ooma’s Place
This very comfortable apartment, evokes memories of a stay with a treasured relative. Roomy, with abundant light, it’s furnished in an old-fashioned but enjoyable manner. Wolfgang & Michaela are accommodating and informative hosts. Though a bit far from Old Town, it’s walkable along the scenic Salz River. It has very homey feel, and was a wonderful spot for our family of four.

The few days we spent in Salzburg were amazing. Michaela was so helpful. We were traveling with my elderly father so we needed restaurants that were close and taxis & Ubers that would pick us up right outside the house. She made suggestions for several things to make the trip easier for us. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. It’s central to the market & restaurants. If you want to visit the Old Town you will need to take a bus or taxi.

Michaela's apartment was terrific for our family of 6! It was spotless and had everything we needed for a wonderful visit! The apartment is located in a very quiet neighborhood, which was much-appreciated after long days of sightseeing! Historical Salzburg is just a short riverside walk away. It was such a lovely walk, especially during our cold & snowy visit! Michaela was a wonderful host-we highly recommend her apartment!

We have stayed in many VRBO properties but none better than this one. Spacious area, tastefully furnished & within easy walking distance from Salzburg sights. There are 2 separate bedrooms but a third bed is available in a separate area. Easy to communicate with owner who is willing to help with recommendations & guest needs. Kitchen is fully stocked, bathroom is large with separate rooms for shower/sink & toilet. Water pressure is great. Highly recommend

Loved our stay
As a family of six, Michaela’s home was a perfect place to stay for our visit to Salzburg. We easily walked to the Altstadt along the river to explore. It was also a short drive to the Lake District for hiking. Everything was clean and orderly. We loved the fact that we could wash and dry clothes since many European listings don’t have the dryer functionality. The hosts were kind and helpful. We would recommend this home if you are visiting Salzburg and prefer a home to a hotel.

Home away from home
We stayed in early July 2014 for 3 nights. Our stop in Salzburg was in the middle of a 4 week trip to Europe. Our stay here could not have been better. The apartment was well equipped, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Our host family were kind and supportive. It was a great place to relax and take a time-out from our vacation travels. Salzburg was grand...don't miss the beer garden!

Great Location and Friendly Hosts
This property is in a superb location - one block from river and about 15 minute very pleasant walk from old town. Also very convenient to airport. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The layout is a bit quirky - but something that I like and was spacious enough. Note that it is 2 bedrooms and another alcove with a bed. The toilet /sink is in a separate location from the shower / sink but it was not a problem for us. I would stay here again - thank you for the hospitality!

Salzburg apartment
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and can wholeheartedly recommend this property. It was very spacious and included everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean, light and bright. A highlight of our stay was getting to know Michaela; she is a delightful, intelligent woman with an engaging personality and sense of humor. She is a wealth of information and helpfulness and appears to enjoy her guests. We plan on a return trip to Salozburg and will definitely stay here.

Fabulous!
Michaela was a wonderful, warm and caring host. The apartment was perfect for our family of 5, with lots of room to stretch out in after a long day of sightseeing. The beds and linens were very comfortable, and you really got a good night's rest with the window shades. It was really like staying in a friend's home as the kitchen was stocked with the basics if you wished to cook, and little homey touches truly made our stay a home away from home. The location was great too as it is so close to buses and the train station. If in Salzburg, we will definitely stay again. Thank you Michaela!

Perfect Salzburg Getaway Home
Spacious, clean, fully-updated townhome that suited our family of four perfectly. Fully equipped with all modern conveniences, including wifi. Comfortable beds, lots of fluffy towels, and anything you want/need when traveling. Lots of light and gorgeous views since situation on 2nd floor of this quiet street in Salzburg. Five minute walk to old town along the riverbanks. Owner went out of her way to provide ideas, weather forecast, recommendations, dinner reservations and even baked our family fabulous cakes. It was like having our own, personal concierge. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Salzburg!
