The updated bedrooms on the 2nd floor include two master bedrooms facing the ocean with sliding doors to the deck and hot tub, a queen bedroom and a bunk-room with two full size beds and a narrow twin. The king master features a Keurig, microwave, mini-fridge, a 40-inch TV, and newly renovated bathroom. Walkout the sliding doors onto the deck for the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or soak in the hot tub while relishing in the cool breeze and harmony of the surf. The queen master has a 32-inch TV, Keurig, newly renovated bathroom and sliding doors to the expansive deck. The queen bedroom, with a mermaid theme, has a 32-inch TV with direct access to the hallway bathroom. The bunkroom has a full-sized bunk bed, a narrow twin bed and a 32-inch TV. The queen room and bunk room share a hallway bathroom. Also located on the 2nd floor is a stacked washer and dryer.
The top floor’s oceanfront deck has wide expansive ocean views you will ALWAYS REMEMBER; it is the perfect place to relax and watch the waves, delight at the sunrise/set, and gaze at the stars. The views continue in the open concept living area with vaulted ceilings, half bath, 65-inch TV, beverage station with sink and minifridge, dining for ten and fully stocked kitchen with all new counter tops, cabinets and appliances, Keurig and a breakfast bar that seats five.

We absolutely loved this home. Close to the beach with the waves breaking. Loved walking on the beach with the dogs and just being so close to nature. Will definitely recommend this special place.

We love the location and the fact that the house is dog friendly. There's even a water station in the kitchen for the dogs! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking. Nice decks with plenty of furniture. Outdoor shower is great.

Spring getaway
We had a wonderful week!! So relaxing and fun. The house had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed the upper deck and hot tub. The ocean was quite chilly, but we put our feet in and walked the beach every day.

Great house in the perfect location!
We had the best week at Always Remember. It was a breeze walking straight onto the beach and having the house right there to make lunch or take a break from the sun. We brought our dog with us, and it was so nice to be able to let him out throughout the day. The house was extremely clean and was the perfect set up for us! The hosts were so welcoming and available if we needed them, loved the lists of local spots they provided. We plan to return next year!

We really enjoyed our time here, and loved the location. The kitchen was well-appointed for a large family who likes to cook meals at home, and the hosts were very thoughtful and responsive, and included great information in the welcome letter, including local recipes and day trip Ideas. We’ll definitely book again.

Great house!
Perfect property for our family vacation this year. The kids loved the short walk to the beach and the hot tub when they got back to the house. The rooms were great for all of us and the upstairs was perfect for winding down and having family meals. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

Great location in old Salvo. My kind of older, simpler beach house. Fewer frills just everything you need and easy access to a great beach. Brooke, the owner, was gracious and readily available when we had a question. She was great and made everything easy.

Peaceful house in a great location
My partner and I had a lovely stay here! It's in a nice and peaceful area of the island with easy access to the beach and very accommodating hosts! They have Netflix built into the Roku, so you don't need to worry about a streaming device to watch shows. The grill is a standard outdoor park-like grill without a lid, it does the job. Would absolutely stay again and recommend this place!

Amazing beach house
Highly recommended!!!! Had a wonderful stay at this cute and cozy beach house... The owner was very friendly and quick to respond to help with any needs we had and made the process so easy she made sure we were set up well in advance and had a great stay , he house was nice clean and welcoming and lots of stuff to play on the beach n relax beach chairs and 10x10 canopy two beach carts buckets and shovels n things for the kids 5 or 6 boogie boards , we will def stay here again next visit to OBX

Salvo is a pretty area, has lovely beaches, and the people we met were very friendly
Though the hosts are lovely people, we expected the property to be clean and in nice condition. As is, it was a college party house.

This trip was a college graduation present for my daughter. The property was well maintained. There was a broken slider door handle which was immediately taken care on. As first time to OBX the info sheet provided by owners was extremely helpful. Great communication.

Awesome spot!
We came from Maui to experience kiteboarding on the Atlantic, and this was the perfect spot for us. The kitchen is big and well-stocked with cooking items, and having a separate bar area was a plus. Terrific outdoor shower and area to clean off gear were appreciated. Beds were very comfortable, but be aware you must either bring or rent your own sheets and towels. Owner was super attentive and easy to reach if we needed anything. Highly recommend! Aloha!

The start of a great tradition
Title says it all. Brooke’s beautiful beach front cottage and her hospitality started a wonderful tradition with our families. The house is everything you could want in a beach home, that’s built for relaxing and having fun. It’s a short walk to the beach with wagons and chairs to use. Brooke was very sweet and also quick to respond to any questions we had with great recommendation. We are already planning our next trip at her cottage!

Family Addition Getaway
“Always Remember “ was very clean, cozy, and affordable. We spent a long weekend with adult children and a new addition to the family. Even though our weather wasn’t the greatest we really enjoyed our time in the home. This home is a good choice for families who have no mobility issues as the path over the dune may be tough for some, plus there are a lot of stairs. I’ll also add that the host was very easy to communicate with. We would stay again!

Perfect location on the Outerbanks
I can't say enough positive things about our stay here. The beach home is even better in person! Brooke was the perfect host, answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to accommodate last minute requests. We traveled with our two German Shepherds, so it was important that our choice in a rental accommodated dog lovers without issue. Everything from accessing the home, early check-ins, and getting around was with ease. We couldn't have found a more perfect place to enjoy our weeklong getaway - we had such a wonderful time that we're already looking at booking again in the late Summer/early Fall!
