"Well situated in quiet neighborhood, close to the ocean and lakes. The property consists of a cottage and a cabin. The cabin is essentially a tiny home with a queen bed, bathroom and kitchenette. Super cosy. The cottage is well laid out, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Lots of outdoor living space. Annie was great in helping us with check-in and check-out. She gave us lots of tips and ideas of what to do in the area. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend."

"We loved staying at this home. Loved the beautiful fenced backyard for our small children and dog, and the house was spacious and comfortable. The master suite is beautiful! It was so nice to be close to the beach so we could walk down anytime we wanted. We were in town for a wedding, and recommended the house to our friends in town, if they know of anyone needing a large place to stay"

"Hubby and I loved it and cant wait to go back. The Lohr family was great. Kristin was super accommodating in so many ways and gave us complete privacy. The only thing that could be improved is the patio. We'd love to be able to sit outside to drink our coffee rain or shine. There's no gutters and even though there's a pergola, the furniture got soaked and stayed wet our whole stay.. "

"It was so nice to get out of the city and away from traffic noise and city lights. All amenities were provided and the spring water was delicious. The old house is full of charm and tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen very modern. We didn't get to use the wood stove because the weather was warm. "If you like beauty, peace, and quiet, you’ll love this place. The house is well appointed, and has some nice updates/upgrades. The windows in the living room and dining room are perfectly situated for the view. It’s worth noting the house is a little bit difficult to get to from the driveway to the front door if you’re elder, or hauling groceries. It was not a downfall for us but may be for some. Kayaking in the bay was unreal. So peaceful, quiet, and just serene. The nearby giant decrepit ship...

"This cottage has loads of character. Tony and Kathy were welcoming hosts. The cottage was immaculately clean and thought has been put into the design of every room. We enjoyed watching whales, seals, and sea lions. The kids enjoyed playing badminton when they weren’t skipping stones. This a great base from which to explore Powell River and Lund."

"Overall it was excellent, the day we arrived had power failure for about an hour due to weather, front staff provided us with candles , extra blankets, and hooked the propane tank to outside stove so we can warm up our food. Will stay there again"
