28 The Pines is a cosy and welcoming lodge located in the coastal village of Runswick. Sleeping up to six guests across three bedrooms, the property is perfect for family staycations and getaways with friends. One of the most beautiful spots on the Yorkshire coast, you’ll be able to enjoy everything the village has to offer as well as explore the rest of North Yorkshire easily.
The Space:
28 The Pines has a spacious living and dining area. Featuring a neutral colour scheme and large windows, there is a tranquil and welcoming feel.
LIVING AREA
The living area includes two sofas and a TV so it’s the perfect place to unwind during your stay. Ideal for family meals, the dining area has a large wooden dining table and six dining chairs.
KITCHEN
Fully equipped, the kitchen boasts a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, oven, hob, kettle, microwave, toaster and refrigerator so you’ll have everything you could need for a self-catering break.
BEDROOM AND BATHROOM
The property boasts three bedrooms. The master bedroom includes a double bed and an ensuite shower room with a WC and basin. The second and third bedrooms are twins.
Modern and clean, the family bathroom has a bathtub with an overhead shower, WC and basin.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is private parking for two cars on site.
One well-behaved dog is welcome to stay at 28 The Pines per reservation.
The Neighborhood:
Runswick Bay is a beautiful spot on the North Yorkshire coast. Boasting a sweeping bay with a gorgeous sandy beach, The Times and Sunday Times Travel have recognised Runswick Bay within Britain's top 50 beaches. From sunbathing to rock pooling, fossil hunting to long walks along the lapping waves, the whole family will enjoy a day at the beach.
With narrow lanes and red roofed cottages, it’s easy to fall for Runswick Bay’s charm. The village has a local pub and cosy cafe which sells delicious cakes and pastries.
By staying in Runswick Bay, you’ll be ideally placed to explore the rest of the coast which includes Whitby, Staithes, Sandsend and Saltburn-by-the-Sea.
Getting Around:
The closest train station to 28 The Pines is a 20-minute drive away in Whitby so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.
You can travel via bus easily from Runswick Bay. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Staithes, Saltburn and Whitby.
