The Bothy holiday cottage in Cornwall

'The Bothy' is an modern annexe to the main house with an open plan ground floor with kitchen area and lounge/diner. A spiral staircase leads to the first floor with a double bedroom and en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower. Outside there is an enclosed patio area with space to park one vehicle alongside.
'The Bothy' is ideally suited to enjoy the local areas with the coast and the moors within easy driving distance. Cornwall also has many attractions further afield.
There is a spiral staircase to the first floor which makes the property unsuitable for wheelchair users or persons with accessibility needs.
Bookings are for a Friday to Friday. It may be possible to book a shorter or longer stay starting on a different day but please enquire first and we will do what we can to assist you.

“Home” Base in Cornwall
Comfy and cozy spot that we were so glad to come back to after days of exploring.Appliances all new and easy to use! The staircase in the photos added charm well as the predictable challenge. A small but appreciated thought was providing a barrier at the top of the stairs to discourage missteps. Farm fresh eggs and homemade apple kljuice were great welcome niceties.

The Bothy
This property was lovely with plenty of equipment for anything you needed, if you wanted to cook a full meal everything was supplied. We ate out most of the time apart from breakfast. towels and T towels were also supplied which wasn't listed on the website (Unless I missed it) The landlady was very pleasant and helpful and there were lots of lovely welcome gifts in the property, milk and eggs as well as other things. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone else

We very much enjoyed our week at the Bothy it was very comfortable and well equipped, in excellent surroundings. A beautiful setting in which to relax. Would recommend it to all.

Well appointed and equipped
Impressed with the cleanliness and facilities in the apartment. Everything you need for a short or extended holiday. Nice touches like fresh eggs, bottle of wine and tasty biscuits. The kitchen had tea and coffee (filter and instant) teabags and milk. Both my wife and I have arthritis in our knees but had no problems getting up and down the spiral stairs. All in all a very pleasant stay.
