An interesting and unique property, with plenty of history, hidden in a residential area of SLC. Hiding in the basement of a heritage house, it's a super private location. Spacious rooms. Nice beds but not particularly comfortable seating generally. Bedroom 2 has no closet or chest of drawers. The bathroom isn't particularly big or tall, but the heated towel rack is very nice in the coolish basement. TONS of extra blankets plus 3 space heaters keep you warm in the cool of winter. The basement location – a former root cellar – would be very nice in summer heat.
The owner is great to deal with. They kindly load up the kitchen with lots of things for breakfasts and tons of snacks. There are a TON of games in one of the bedrooms, so lots to do in the evening. This property would suit a family with kids very well.
It's pretty conveniently located to get out to ski areas. There's not a lot in the immediate neighbourhood, but if you look around you'll find plenty of restaurants and services like grocery stores within a 10-15 min drive in most any direction.
As noted, it's hidden down a narrow private alley. There's room for 1 car to park, but expect a bit of wiggling to get in and out.
