Exterior:
Built in 1896 , just 50 years after the founding of SLC, this quaint property is truly an original Salt Lake City home (it has sense been renovated). This upper level apartment has its own private entrance in the back of the house on the upper deck. You don’t want to miss the sunset from the deck! There street parking along the south and east side of the house. The backyard is fully enclosed and is shared with the downstairs tenants. Keep in mind, you must go up a flight of stairs to get to the front door of the unit and there is a small step right inside the door. please be cautious when entering and watch your step.
Interior:
**The floors in this apartment have been updated but we have not gotten the new photos yet. See the last 3 photos to see the new floor.**There is a bedroom with a plush, luxury mattress pad, pillows, and sheets. Both rooms have full-sized closets with plenty of hangers. The couch is a futon with extra sheets and blankets provided for additional guests. The second bedroom has been converted into a large office, perfect for guests working remotely.
The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and of course fresh towels, hand towels, and rags. Other bathroom necessities like extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and more are provided for our guests' convenience.
The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you would need to cook a full meal. If anything is missing, we encourage guest to reach out so that we can add the missing item to our inventory for their convenience and to improve the stay of all future guests. Basic cooking oils and spices are regularly stocked as well. This unit is for coffee lovers – are 3 different coffee machines (including standard drip coffee)- we also provide coffee and sugar.
The living area has a 48" Samsung plasma TV with a Chromecast so you can cast your favorite streaming services/shows. If you book for an extended stay, there is plenty of storage space throughout the living area.
The guest has access to a private laundry room in the unit. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are regularly stocked.
Guest access:
There is a smart lock on the door. You will have full access to the upper unit and backyard. There will most likely be people downstairs.
Other things to note:
Check-in instructions will be sent to you on the morning of your arrival. If you need adjusted check-in/check-out times feel free to ask! We are happy to adjust when we are able.
The water pressure is inconsistent because of the age of the house. If you are having issues with low pressure, try to only run one item that uses water at a time.
The stairs up to the unit are quite steep so keep this in mind when booking. please also keep in mind to watch your step when entering the unit as there is a very small (.5") step just inside the door. There is a note on the front door to remind you when you arrive
