Located in the Canyon Cove subdivision on the Wastach Mountains next to 215 fwy and 20 min from the SLC International Airport. Hike the neighborhood Hughes Canyon Trail or Olympus Trail. Bike the Canyons right from the location. It is an easy 2 min drive to the SKI SHUTTLE that transports you to all the SKI RESORTS(Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude). This SKI STAY ADU is the perfect work and play location. The Wi-Fi is excellent! Over 2000 sq ft it has very spacious bedrooms with an open kitchen, granite bar seating adjacent to the living room. The front door opens to the sunny patio with a HOT TUB for your after skiing R&R!
The Apt is located on the bottom floor with a walk out basement to a landscaped fenced back yard with flagstone pathways that lead around multiple raised garden beds, flower beds, and a large spacious deck. Enjoy the spring Tulips and summer Gladiolas with city and mountain views from the new large trek deck where you can relax upon the patio chairs, table and large umbrella. It's a great place for starting your day to include a great space for doing yoga! Enjoy farm to table eating opportunities with the growing seasons harvests of a plethora of vegetables! The best strawberries and tomatoes you'll ever taste! There is also a peach and apple tree.
A Propane Grill is available with a fire pit and plenty of chopped wood to enjoy star gazing and the quiet night skies. Choose to eat from some of the Best Restaurants nominated in 2021 in Salt Lake City that are only a 2-10 min drive away! Such as; Log Haven, Market Street Grill and Oyster Bar, Tuscany, Porcupines, The Hog Wallow Pub, Spitz, Old Mill Clubhouse, Greek City Grill, Bohemian Brewery, and Bars and Starbucks.

Some strong perks of staying at this ADU is the amazing Clean AIR because it is on the Wasatch Mountain(edge of the Rocky Mtn) which is mostly above the inversion. Our Canyon Cove neighborhood is uniquely special with much owner pride in the care of their homes, hosts the Hughes Canyon trail and Mt. Olympus Trail with the best street and mountain biking in Utah. During snow season there is quick snow plowing, wide quiet streets and spacious lot sizes that has kept full maturing trees, large sidewalks and friendly safe walking, jogging or biking to enjoy exercise or the beautiful Utah sunsets. The sunset is seen at its best from Canyon cove highest peak. You can almost reach out and touch the Wasatch Mtn since the neighborhood was built on it!
Our home views the awesome Hughes Canyon that creates a wonderful nightly breeze of clean air, pine, and canyon fragrances. The owners live on the first floor of the home and have prepared for a quiet downstairs ADU with adding extra insulation in between the two levels to give guests privacy and quietness. The ADU faces West allowing for much natural light and sunbathing or quiet reading a book with views over the Salt Lake Valley and great Oquirrh Mountains. The fenced outdoor space offers a large Trex deck with comfy new chairs patio set and a shade large umbrella. Enjoy all the Mountain and city views from the 2 large spacious decks. Plenty of room for yoga, reading, praying, quietness and just taking in all the beauty!!
Enjoy spring with KJ‘s garden of tulips! The summer enjoy a plethora of sunflowers, Gladiolas and other colorful perennials. There are several swings and patio chairs from the second deck to enjoy the views of the Salt Lake.
The ADU offers driveway or street parking with a brick pathway to the backyard where its own private door entry is located. The open floor plan is great for gathering in the kitchen with a wrap around granite bar with 2 bar stools, the living room with 2 couches and wide open windows for natural light and views. You'll enjoy the newer kitchen with ease of reach to newer appliances and large refrigerator. There is plenty area with granite countertops, deep sink and pull out faucet, in cabinet recycle and trash bins, sharpen knives, cookware, coffee maker, tea kettle, and a large pantry to include, rice cooker, crock pot, cuisenart, popcorn maker, blender, juicer and staples.

Guests enjoy the themed decor in the spacious 3 Bedrooms of comfortable newer Beds, NICE linens, plethora of Pillows to choose your favorite type, a bathroom with separate tub and shower, Smart TV, 250+WIFI and a closet full of Games. Enjoy your own Thermostat controls. The ADU has filtered water to drink and shower from 2 new large Water Heaters so you will always have HOT Water! Shared Laundry facilities are also available for use.

Wonderful and delightful stay
Great location for Skiing and Golf and all the activities that Salt Lake city offers. Staying in a house with a family is my first experience. I would do it again, Everybody is attentive to your thoughts and feelings. The visual of the mountains And the city is wonderful. I would recommend!

Beautiful apartment, great owner, perfect stay!
We arrived and were contacted timely with directions to get into the apartment. Directions were precise and easy. The apartment is amazing. Brand new beautiful kitchen and three spacious bedrooms. Very clean. The property is very well kept in an amazing neighborhood. We felt very safe during our stay. All of our needs were met, we cooked most evenings in the apartment, kitchen is well stocked. Owner is gracious and very friendly and makes you feel at home. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for making your home available KJ!
