"Property manager Val was great. He met us and answered all our questions and went out of his way to help us doing our stay. View is great, patio has plenty of room and a new gas grill.Beds are very comfortable. Decor is nice. A/C works great. Each room has its own split unit so you can control the temperature. In January you really only need the A/C doing mid day.Kitchen is well stocked. Only 3 issues, the floors are thin so the people above you sounds like they are stomping around. The shower...

"What a beautiful home and location. Our host Mindy was wonderful!! The home is recently renovated, so clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. A close drive to great restaurants and sites to see. You must go and stay at Drakes View. We will be back next year for some more fun. "

"Had a great 3-night stay at Karen and Nigel's place. The top of a mountain, overlooking Great Harbor and obviously great views. Very clean, plenty of room. Perfect for a couple. Some simple notes, but not criticisms in any way - the walk up the driveway and then to the unit is steep and walking into town at night is not for the faint of heart, so we took taxi's everywhere. "We recently returned from an amazing stay at the Aloe House. The property and our hosts exceeded expectations in every way. Marnie and Don are wonderful!! Their location, on Great Camanoe island, just a stone's throw from Tortola but a world away, was such a treat. We have rented amazing properties around the world through VRBO but the views from this home were beyond anything I could have dreamt of. Waking up and viewing the boats go by and hearing the faint chatter from the lovely Marina Cay...

"It felt a little like home, but way more spacious. Everything looked like how it was in the pictures. Cooked breakfast, a great place to get away and relax. The view was amazing, and my friends enjoyed their stay as well. Even though there was a few wear and tears we still made it work. Two persons complained about their rooms being and their a/c not working. But overall it was well spent, and i would definitely recommend."

"Brewer’s Bay Beach Home is an amazing place to stay for relaxing in Paradise! Where else can you stay with an awesome beach just steps from your home? The colors of the aqua Caribbean waters are amazing. Snorkeling right where you are. We saw quite a variety of fish. If you are looking for a beautiful, relaxing get away this is the place. Definitely follow the recommendations to rent a 4-wheel drive. The roads are definitely an adventure. on"

"A home away from home. Inge and Rose have made their vision a mission to cater to guests. A true relaxing Shangri la. Exceptionally clean and superbly appointed. The use linens that have been in Inge's family for 3 generations. A 5min walk to the best public beach I've ever seen (even after many beaches in the Greek islands). Breakfast is amazing. An outstanding cook (Alex) is always on spot. Inge makes it a priority to ensure guests are taken care of, even ordering dinner for us when needed....

"The property is still under construction, so I can understand how some parties would take issue with it. We only stayed for one night, so it didn’t really bother us. The location is a bit remote, but not too hard to find once you get used to driving around Tortola. "

"Lovely grounds and plenty of space to spread out. Would stay again—just a couple minor issues. Half of hot tub jets were not working, pool struggled to stay clear and one bungalow had faulty AC. Immigration workers questioned our address as being incomplete but we had no further details to give them. Property manager Katie is so kind and welcoming."

"Lighthouse Villas was perfect for us. Our studio apt had everything we needed and more. Sitting on our deck, watching the ocean and surrounding islands was magical. The beach was close, there were many choices of places to eat and a neighborhood grocery store. We plan to return next year. My only caution is that there is a short hill to climb to the villas and the studio apts require 1 or 2 flights to stairs. It height makes for fantastic views but it does require mobility. "

"My stay was peaceful, however, there was no television or basic written instructions on taking out the trash or procedures at the end of your stay! Also there is not a lot of space for parking a rental car."

"At Sugar Mill Hotel we found a charming, cottage like accommodation. We had a view of the sea. Our hosts and all the staff were all helpful and friendly. The meals were excellent, and the atmosphere in the dining rooms perfect."

"We absolutely adored the property! There was so much to do on Scrub, but then it was also easy to do a private boat day or ferry over to Marina Kay for other options. The staff were all absolutely amazing. The room was comfortable. Dining on the island was quite expensive but pretty good quality for the money. I would say the only negative was the lack of beach service. We adored North Beach because it was so private and beautiful, but one day there was a bigger crowd there with only one bartender. We never got any service even after asking twice on the other beach. Amazing views. The spa does not have luxury amenities but did have an incredible massage. The market and Rosalina who worked there were amazing! "

"Amazing stay at Long Bay Beach. Service could be a little slow at times, but you’re on island time. Also, find out what time food options, bar closes, as it is earlier than expected for a vacation spot. Also, if you get car sick, request the airport transfer on the less curvy/hilly road. Although it may only be 5-7 miles, transit time is close to 30-45 minutes. Despite all the “issues” it was spectacular and would definitely go again. "
