"The description of the property was accurate; however, a few things surprised me that would have affected my decision to book or not. First, the house is located beside a busy road where traffic is moving all hours of the day and night at 35-55 mph. For some, this isn't a big deal. For others, it's not as quiet as described. "If you like the cozy cottage rustic cabin vibe, you’ll love this place. The beds are super comfy - kids/teens will love the loft area. There are whimsical little figures hiding throughout the house. The owner is quick to get back to you with any questions you may have."

"I have wanted to stay in one of these vintage vacation cottages for years. We happened to see this listing for an upcoming trip to West Point. I highly recommend staying here. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The only slight issue was finding the driveway to property and the road noise. A sound machine was provided and it was useful. We had a great stay here."
