Our room was large, comfortable, and clean, all the necessary amenities, the bed was comfy and the heating system quiet—a great value! Having a good restaurant upstairs is a big bonus, we’ll definitely be back.

Places to avoid
The check-in process is a joke. It requires you to scan your license and take a full facial profile prior to arriving at the property. During the virtual check-in we were required to choose between providing a $200 deposit or a damage waiver for $55. We paid an additional fee for early check-in making this off season stay less of a deal. We were booked in a 3rd floor suite with only outside access. At arrival the steps to the 3rd floor had not been shoveled. We felt the additional fee for early check-in should have assured our room would be ready and accessible. Three fights with luggage in tow is bad enough, but doing it on slippery steps made it more interesting. Don’t even get me started on the sham of a restaurant. We frequent the area and will most assuredly be avoiding this place in the future. There are far too many nice accommodations in the area that cater to guests over their bottom line.

Great find, good price
My husband and I were very happy with our room—good location, comfortable bed, quiet heat system, great shower, the kuerig and ample coffee pods were a great touch. We had dinner at The Slip, very nice, reasonably priced, and conveniently located upstairs. The remote check in experience was a bit frustrating, with a long and somewhat insulting agreement we were supposed to sign but we talked about it with the young man at the front desk who said the new owners inherited it from the previous owner and intended to change it. He also seemed to agree with us that the 10am check out time (which may have been inherited as well) should be 11am as that is standard. Overall it was a great experience, reasonably priced, and we’ll definitely be back!
