"We had eight family members including small children. The rooms were all comfortable and accommodating. We could walk to restaurants and walk to beautiful beaches. Or spend a day having fun in the pool or hosting a party with a moustache licking meal prepared by Chef Marco. The host for the villa was also first class"

"The house: 5* Attractive house, three exceptionally clean bathrooms and good, hot, strong showers. Well equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, microwave coffee machine, freezer). All the bedrooms had working aircon. Outdoor space with a huge dining table, in addition to lounge chairs and table tennis table (all equipment provided). Salvatore and his parents prepare the property beautifully - welcome pack of food and water, wine in fridge. Anti-mosquito plug-ins provided throughout house. Soap in bathrooms, coffee capsules and staples such as olive oil, vinegar, salt. Swimming pool lovely and sunbeds and towels are provided. Outside space has nice lighting in the evening. The Location: The train station (Lascari) is a few minutes walk away and we used it to take a day trip to Palermo where we did a street food tour which we recommend. Trains are punctual and reliable. We had a car rental and used this to get into Cefalu (huge car park at Lungomare Guiseppe Giardini. Charming town with lovely sandy beach. Clear sea on calm days and fun waves on windier days. Lots of restaurants - we tried Tinchitè, Al Gabbiano, Porta Ossuna Cefalu and Ostaria Del Duomo - all recommended. Nearer to the house we liked Voce del Mare and Da Piero (nice takeaway pizza). Recommended Activities: Zipline Sicilia, Gole Di Tiberius (a gorge in Madonie), Horse Riding in Madonie,(Sicily Horse Tours), Parco Avventurea Madonie. There is an acqua park nearby too but we didn’t try it."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The villa has great outdoor space including seating, sunbeds, barbecue and a private pool (well kept by Salvatore) - short walk to beaches for swimming and snorkelling (we preferred the public beach 5 mins walk away but there is a private beach too for just a few villas). Out of Cefalù so not so busy and only a short drive to bakery, supermarket and restaurant. Not easy to walk to nearby restaurant as roads are busy with no path but can walk along the beach. The villa is well maintained and had everything we needed. Many thanks to Salvatore who was up early to clean the pool most days so it was ready before we got up. "

"Beautiful spot to enjoy the views over the water. Sunsets are amazing and the pool area is to die for. Loved the outdoor kitchen and layout of the house. Comfortable stay will all needed amenities. Communication with owners was seamless and they provide a lot of information to assist your stay."

"We were a bit late arriving at the villa, due to appalling weather and roadworks on the autostrada from Taormina, but were welcomed warmly by Tiziana, and found the villa to be very comfortable and pretty much exactly as described. We had a bit of luck with the weather and managed an afternoon by the very nice pool on the second day. Da Pietro trattoria/pizzeria is about 100m away and the food was really nice (great seafood risotto). Be very careful not to attempt to drive into Cefalu, as the police strictly enforce the residents-only access policy. Also don't attempt to drive in Palermo, as it's very congested and quite chaotic. However, we loved visiting this city, using the fast train from Lascari (station is about 3km away). Don't miss the Piazza dei Normani and the co-located Capella Valentine - the frescos are incredibly beautiful and totally awe-inspiring. We also liked seeing the Cathedral (in Arab-Norman style, with beautiful ornamentation. Villa Laura is comfortable and well-situated for exploring the region around Cefalu.
