Birthday ski trip
My son wanted to go snowboarding to celebrate his 14th birthday. We normally stay in Salida, but I wanted to stay a little bit closer to Monarch ski resort. Wanted to have a spacious place to stay where everyone could have their own room and possibly bathroom. This place was perfect! Everyone was blown away with my find! Perfect location if you’re heading up the mountain and close to town if you forgot something. Very affordable as well! And when we got there we weren’t bombarded with a bunch of list of do’s and don’t’s like we’ve experienced with other properties.
