North Keowee Family Lake House on Private Cove With Dock / 5 MIN FROM JOCASSEE

Get the family and friends together for memories at the lake! This waterfront lake house with private dock has plenty of outdoor living space and is nestled at the end of a quiet cove. You can let the kids swim and explore on paddle board / kayaks without worrying about boat traffic, or go for an adventure yourself! Two (2) kayaks, two (2) paddleboards and an assortment of life jackets are provided at no additional charge. There are lots of great hiking trails in the area (even if the water is too cold to swim) and the leaves are spectacular in autumn.

The location of this home and dock are ON Lake Keowee, but only a 5 minute drive from Lake Jocassee and Devil’s Fork State Park. Enjoy a quiet morning cup of coffee or peaceful sunset from the large screened porch or lower deck overlooking the lake and cove. There is a path with ~40 steps down to the lower deck shown in the photos.

Winter guests enjoy the wood burning stove after a hike on one of the local trails and the outdoor fire pit is a great spot to catch up with family members. During the Spring and Fall the fire pit is home of the storyteller and s'mores!

The house was perfectly situated on Lake Keowee and close to lots of hiking. Our visit was in Feb, and we experienced a cold, windy, overcast day so we really enjoyed the indoor fire stove!

The view was spectacular. The huge porch made it all the more comfortable. The house had all the amenities as promised. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing, swimming and just relaxing. Really a great place for family fun.

We had a wonderful weekend at the lake. The house is great with plenty of room. The kitchen is alitlle tight but doable. The walk down the steep hill to the lake is challenging but worth it! Private cove! We rented a great pontoon and enjoyed touring the lake. Such a beautiful weekend and just what was needed! Would stay again!

Lake Retreat
This was our second stay at house and again enjoyed the trip. The lake is quiet and beautiful. The house is cozy with plenty of space. We really enjoy the screen in porch with Tv to relax and enjoy the fall weather. Look forward to another trip in the future.

Great quick weekend trip to lake.

This property is clean, cozy, comfortable and quiet. It's a great family gathering place! There are three separate areas that accommodate large groups nicely, yet maintaining a cozy, intimate feel. Close proximity to both lakes and dock access is a plus. Owners are very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this property!
