"I booked the single room which was ensuite, quite small but wow did it have everything you could possibly want. Very comfy bed. Good size fridge under sink, lots of tea and coffee, hairdryer, iron and board. The bathroom had toiletries including little packages for anything forgotten, razor, toothbrush, sewing kit, shower cap, comb. Continental breakfast included which was amazing so much variety from cereals, porridge, yoghurt, pastries, waffles, pancakes, crumpets, flapjacks, variety of bread slices or rolls, cheese and meats, sausages, eggs, beans, lots of juices, tea inc herbal, and coffee and actimel! Really was amazing best selection I've seen. Help yourself so you can mix and match whatever you feel like. Definitely will stay here again. Everything you could want and so much more. "

"The sign of a good guest house is the towels and these were big, thick and white. The owner, Liz, was very approachable. The place was very clean. Could just do with a more up-to date colour scheme "

"Fabulous find on the front. Great location. Parking close if carpark full. Clean and well decorated. Lots of rooms but was incredibly quiet. Had the top room 1 in the Attic. Plenty of space. Tea and coffee plus the water bottles were very welcome. Bed was incredible comfortable and spotless. Pillows great. Slept so well. Towels were white heavy and fluffy. The ensuite was small but to be expected but perfectly useable. The shower was small but again perfectly functional. Breakfast was fab, presented well with plenty of toast and coffee. Large airy breakfast room. Great lottle bar with pool table and comfy front lounge. Ooh yeah recommend the porridge it was to die for x. Will stay here every time we visit Skegvegas for the night. Loved it."

"We had a great stay, all the staff were excellent, Lily at breakfast service and Ben so helpful throughout our stay. Food was amazing, we had the Sunday Taster menu and the Chef was so accommodating of my partner who is vegan. We also had food from the comfort menu which was again very good. Breakfasts which for residents are included in the room rate was lovely. The place had the feel of going to to stay with friends for the weekend, a credit to all the staff and Paul the Manager."
