"Excellent for Camino walkers. We stayed in a private double which was a floor above the dorms. It was very quiet and luxurious. We shared the bathroom with two other rooms though we never saw the people. Check in was super friendly and informative which we appreciated. There is a fabulous communal space and kitchen which is fully equipped and has a complimentary coffee machine. There was also free breakfast of cereals and toast which started at 6am. "I would definitely book again!! Me and my guy just stayed there. I do not understand the awful reviews. First..it’s a 1 star hotel so know what you’re getting into. Our room had a bathroom, which we booked for so I was a bit surprised when they What’s App to say that they changed our room so we got one with bathroom. I’d check in with them via What’s App just to confirm what room was booked. They always promptly respond. Anne was beyond gracious!! Our breakfast every morning was stellar!...

"I stayed here for 2 days. Firstly, hotels.com forgot to send me late check-in instructions, which I emailed them about. The room was ok. The pillow was really uncomfortable. There is no lock on the room. Shower was ok. I wake up to construction noise in the morning. There is no proper kitchen and if someone is cooking you can smell it from your bed. "

"The hostel is new and very nicely designed in a good area, 1 block from Zurriola surf beach and under 10 min walk to the old town. Bare essentials kitchen and good wifi everywhere. There is a bar/cafe downstairs and the actual dorms are right next door in a residential apartment so you need to be peaceful in there. The owners David and Haritz are two of the nicest, hospitable guys you'll ever meet who will make your stay a memorable one. Also try the salmon toastie!"

"The building holds the heat and without AC the only option is to open the window, this does not work as the street is exceptionally noisy with trucks buses and motorcycles. Also for the price, I expected it to be bigger, hot water that doesn’t run out, house keeping, or someone around to ask questions. We don’t normally complain either. Positives are it was reasonably clean and location was great."

"We arrived at the property with no information about how to access our room. Whoever is managing the property is no where to be found... basically asked another person who had access to the building the code to get in and found the key to our room in the door. Also, no fridge, no laundry, at the site as promised. Great location though at night too noisy to sleep with the window open so had to muscle through the heat."

"I got double charged twice on this property by Expedia and the owner! Nightmare experience Paid for it the minute I booked on Expedia. Then the owner demanded payment in cash before letting me in. No customer service from either party. Disappointing experience and would not recommend it"
