Magdala is a 5 bedroom maisonette ideally located 3 minutes walk from the centre of Salcombe in an elevated position offering stunning estuary views. New for 2022 the property offers 1 allocated parking space a couple of minutes walk away and allows 1 dog subject to a fee.
The property is accessed up a small set of steps onto a raised patio that’s ideal for storing wetsuits, paddle boards and beach gear during your stay. There’s an outside hose for rinsing water sports gear and salty dogs!
You enter the property into an open hallway with adequate space shoes and coats for all guests.
To the right on the ground floor is the open plan living, kitchen and dining room. Spend your time here entertaining at the large dining table or lounging on the sofas looking at the view and watching the Smart TV. The room has bifold doors that lead to a balcony with a table and chairs and affording some of the most stunning views that Salcombe has to offer.
The kitchen is spacious and modern with everything you need for your stay including double electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and large fridge freezer.
To the left of the entrance hall is the first of the two ground floor bedrooms with a bunk bed and adequate storage. The second bedroom is to the rear of the property and offers views over the town and 2 single beds. The bedroom also has an en suite shower room and plenty of storage. The ground floor also has a second bathroom with shower enclosure and toilet just off the hallway, there is no bath.
Head upstairs to an open landing area and the master bedroom is to the right offering stunning views from the bed and window seat as well as a Queen size bed and basin.
On the first floor there’s a family bathroom with shower enclosure and toilet, there is no bath. Two further bedrooms are on this floor. The first has 2 singles beds and the second has a double bed.
Recommended for: Families and groups of friends. The proximity to town by foot allows easy access to explore the shops, pubs, restaurants, and to catch the ferry to the stunning of beaches of East Portlemouth. Magdala is also situated next to the recently refurbished Courtenay Children’s Park complete with climbing frames, swings and much more.
Favourite feature: The View at sunrise. You will find yourself spending a lot of time watching the comings and goings on the water. We provide a pair of binoculars!
Need to know: We accept 1 well behaved dog subject to a £25 fee per stay. You must follow the house rules in relation to this including not allowing pets on furniture or beds. Excessive cleaning will result in charges.

Adjacent to the property is a path that is used for pedestrian access into town. Whilst this is convenient you should expect people to pass the property frequently during the day/night.
