The key highlight of this area is that it is a hiker’s paradise, and one can take up canoeing or kayaking on the Ardèche River or the Cèze River at 8 km. An excellent starting point for many excursions to discover the region. Don't leave without visiting a typical Provençal market with local produce, such as the one in Bagnols on Wednesdays. You must visit Languedoc-Roussillon for its charming beach resorts, centuries-old fishing harbours and luxurious marinas and explore the nearby popular towns of Carcassonne, Montpellier, Narbonne, Nîmes and Perpignan.
