"Should you find yourself in Salatiga, staying here is a good choice. Very strategic location close to the city centre/main street. The hotel has a map of eateries, so you can sample Javanese cuisine. Rooms are spacious with large beds. I believe most rooms have a balcony so it's nice to sit on the balcony and enjoy Salatiga's relatively fresh air. Added bonus if your room is facing Mt Merbabu/Mt Merapi like mine was. Salatiga is not on the tourist track, but if you want to wander around...
