"The apartment is delightful and Pilar was a very helpful and obliging host. Met us at the station when we arrived, answered our questions about the area and was extremely helpful in arranging our departure. We explored Garraf and ate at a number of the local restaurants. Favorite was Bar Antonio - casual bar/cafe where we enjoyed coffee and pastries most mornings. Obviously a favorite of the locals too. Unfortunately the area was hit by extremely bad weather while we were there but we were not directly affected except for train cancellations. Thoroughly recommend this apartment for someone wanting a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of a big city. "

"Overall we had a great holiday at House Nirvana. The views are spectacular, the villa is bright, airy & clean & is well appointed with everything we needed for a fun group holiday. Communication with Christian to book the villa & with Eric and his team while we were there, was easy & efficient. The area was great - we know Sitges well and didn’t have a car. We were able to walk from the villa into town in about 25 minutes cutting down the steps. The villa is actually two flats, which wasn’t a problem in itself, and actually has some advantages as the soundproofing between the flats is excellent so worked well for our party with some who liked to go to bed earlier and others who liked to stay up late making noise! However all of the pictures on the listing are of the top flat. The second flat is considerable less luxurious and would benefit from a bit of maintenance. For example the bathroom door had no handle or lock, the door handle of the larger bedroom, was lose and came off a few times, in the bathroom the paint around the door and the shower area had flaked away leaving the bare wood. Nothing that would spoil a holiday, but not quite what was expected when paying the price for this house - it’s not a cheap option. There is a real disparity between the two flats with the top flat being luxurious and the lower flat being OK, but nowhere near the same standard of accommodation. Maybe some pictures of this accommodation would have made the listing more accurate."

"We are just travelling home after a wonderful week at this villa. It's a big house in a quiet location. There are some big positives: 1. There's loads of space. Seven bedrooms contain about 14 beds. Most of the bedrooms have air conditioning and are really comfortable to sleep in. 2. It's quiet. The location of the house means there's very little passing traffic. The house itself is also quiet and noise doesn't really travel between the rooms. 3. The pool. We were in the pool every day and it was a perfect size for our group. The water is plenty warm enough. 4. Well equipped. The kitchen has more than enough crockery, cutlery and glassware for a big group. There are also some things it's worth being aware of if you're thinking of booking (not criticisms, just observations) 1. Bugs. The ants are a bit of a menace. We had to wrap and hide all our food. The fridges were ant free, but the ants even made their way into the oven where we were trying to store bread. There are also a lot of flies and mosquitos and we tried EVERYTHING to keep them at bay. 2. Hazards. The house is not ideal with a toddler. Between the steps and the pool, there wasn't really an area where he could play safely. 3. Transport. You definitely need a car. The location is a good distance from the nearest shops and amenities. 4. It's quite tricky to keep clean. The dishwasher wasn't working properly and the only provided cleaning product was a bottle of washing up liquid. Overall, highly recommend."

"Absolutely amazing property. The pictures don’t do it justice. We stayed as a family of 5 and so much space to relax around the property. Loved the fact that it felt like a well loved home with everything you need contained within the property, we found something new every day. Amazing views of Sitges from any of the numerous balconies. Great swimming pool area with plenty of loungers and pool level amenities including a fridge to keep your drinks chilled. The area is residential and quiet, only downside is an uphill walk home from town (approx 20 mins) not an issue for us but may be for more elderly visitors although there is a bus stop to town just outside the house. I can’t praise this place enough - the gym and treadmill were also well utilised and an added bonus to get the day off to a good start. Danny the property manager was available at any time with help and recommendations including driving us to the Supermarket when we first arrived. He also sorted taxis to and from the house to the airport. A great chap with lots of good advice. As for Sitges - lovely resort with a touch of class, no lager louts to report. We loved it. Lots of beaches but we preferred the pool. Barcelona 35 minutes on the train. Station within walking distance. The whole family agreed this was the best property we have stayed in for a long time. Loved it. "

"This house was perfect for our family vacation. Each room had a beautiful view of the sea. There were plenty of separate spaces for our 3 families (myself, husband and our 9 and 11 year old-my sister and her 16yr old and my oldest daughter, her husband and their 5 month old). The inside pool was warm and the perfect area for those who wanted to be out of the sun but still part of the group. The owner, Juan, was friendly and super accommodating. Any issue we encountered was quickly addressed. We would definitely stay in this house again!"

"Villa Altavista fully lived up to the online images and information. The views of Sitges were stunning particularly from the pool area, the balcony on which we enjoyed a number of BBQs, and especially from the wide open master bedroom. The Villa is comfortable, well maintained and everything is provided for. Although we were quite high up above town, the walk down was not prohibitively long, or we drove down to the marina area where we could park and were in the Old Town within 15 minutes. We had a fabulous time."

"We had a wonderful stay at the villa - beautiful rooms and a breathtaking view. We appreciated the fact that the kitchen had all we needed to cook and enjoy breakfast with a view. Ruth and the team were very communicative and when we didn't have enough glasses or the pool needed cleaned they responded very quickly. It's a little out of the town but I would say it is more than worth the additional walking/ taxis. There was a shortcut to getting into town that we only discovered on the 3rd day but when walking downhill look out for the staircase, it cuts the walking time in half almost!"
