"Nice small family hotel. Our room had an amazing view of the sea and was great for relaxing. On the other hand parking was challenging and the Wi-Fi was non existent. If you list that there is internet in each room I expect it to work. There was no signal except in one corner area and it kept cutting in and out. This would have not been an issue if my trip was for vacation. I was trying to work and it was impossible to do so."

"Looks good from the outside but pretty average inside. Parking is not nearly enough for the guests of the hotel. The room has a weird setup with the sink in the middle of the room and the bathroom only has a small curtain to separate it from the room. "

"Das Hotel war sicher vor sehr vielen Jahren schön. Jetzt ist es nur noch von außen ansehnlich. Abgetretene Teppiche, massiv Schimmel im Bad. Überall ist es schmutzig. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert."

"The room maid said that the management told her that 4* hotel must change bed-linen every 5 days, whilst in the Tourism law and acts in BG it is clearly stated every other day unless the guest request daily!"

"If the particulars about distance to the beach had been correct i would not j ave booked this hotel. It is at least 1 kilometre from the beach. Not as stated. The hotel is comfortable but showing signs of wear. Some of the paper is coming off the walls and our bathroom floor showed distinct signs of wear. The breakfast is ok but the use of average ingredients, cheap bread, only one jam available until our last morning etc. Why is there a table laid out for 6 in the restaurant gathering...

"On arrival to this hotel we experienced an easy check in. When we reached our room we found our keycard did not actually work so had to use a manual key. The room was clean and tidy and had a nice view of the sea from the balcony but the heating in the room did not work which meant it was freezing. Other members of our group next door to us also did not have heating that worked and their hair dryer in the bathroom also did NOT work. It seems nothing really works in this hotel. The third time...

"This is a newly renovated property and it is very clean and above normal standard for the area. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. There is a supermarket 1 minute walk away and a restaurant in the hotel (free breakfast buffet). There is also a very good pizza/italian restaurant just 1 minute walk away. "front desk staff was so nice. I arrived very early and she was able to let me into my room earlier than the check in time! The transit system around the hotel is very good and there is a great gas station next to the hotel convenience. It is also very close and walkable to many major sites, the beach, museums and more. The room itself was very clean, it was a HUGE room. The bed was comfortable and the re was more than enough space to relax."

"We have stayed at this hotel many times and keep on returning, which is the best recommendation we can give. The reception staff is always alert and willing to help. There are few "down issues" one being a chronic problem trying to turn off lights over the bed. It is an electric wiring defect. Again, reception staff are ready to help. I have not stayed at many hotels in Varna, but will return to the Golden Tulip when the time comes"

"A very nice hotel in the center of Varna. There are many dining options nearby and the hotel itself has a restaurant and bar as well. The breakfast buffet is great and provides lot's of different options, both sweet and savoury. The rooms are rather large and fitted with air conditioners. I will definitely visit again."
