The room I stayed in was totally upgraded with fresh tile, a very comfortable bed, and the little things (hair dryer, reading lamp, towel and coat hooks, etc.) I was traveling solo and spontaneously. It was a perfect place to have as a home-base from which to explore Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer proper, the bird sanctuary nearby, and other little inlets here and there.
