The people working at the hotel were super helpful, providing an option to manage our late arrival, providing breakfast at short notice and helping with any questions we had. The family room we stayed in was large and easily accommodate two adults and two kids. "

"We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. "Idyllic setting in a tiny village surrounded by farmland. Plenty of walks with very little traffic to worry about. Small town nearby with a couple of restaurants and a supermarket. Historic town of Cognac under an hour away with plenty of shops and bars. The property itself is superb. Very well kitted out with everything that you could possibly need. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect place for a bit of quiet time and a place to relax. Heated pool and a games room with snooker table table-tennis, books and games This place really does have everything including high speed internet Large private garden, absolutely perfect for the dog; Then there is the jewel in the crown which is the lovely hosts living next door Amanda & Robin have been doing this for over a decade and do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. We had car trouble and Amanda fixed us up with a local mechanic and drove us into town whilst our vehicle was being fixed. The only thing that we did wrong was to book for a week when we would have liked to stay for a fortnight at least."
